Discuss all the other CA matches here. Edit: Let's NOT discuss U.S.-related things aside from advancement scenarios, ok?
Stadium is like 3/4 empty for this CRC/Par match. Not surprising considering the ticket prices, but still a little discouraging. Also, both jerseys are pretty sweet, much better than what we've got going on. This entrance music is absolutely awful.
Really? A moment of silence for Mohammed Ali? Great boxer, no doubt, but really? Before a CRC-Paraguay soccer match? Come on.
A yellow to Tejeda literally 15 seconds into the match. Nasty challenge and probably deserved one actually.
I'll be alllll over it. I was actually surprised no one had started one of these yet for CA. Glad I remembered at the last second.
CRC coming out very physical. That probably should have been a yellow as well less than 3 minutes in.
These teams are obviously taking this Copa very seriously. Fun game, so far, in spite of all the fouling in the first 10'.
Paraguay dominating so far. CRC looks listless. I don't think this will end in a draw, but we'll see.
Romero doing his part to keep the proud tradition of the South American mullet alive and well. Paraguay looks far more dangerous. Costa Rican midfield is getting overrun.
Well, that's one good opportunity for both sides now. The best thing about this game as far as we are concerned is that it's supposedly 92 degrees and humid. If the referee should decide to put an end to the chipiness with liberal use of his cards, that would suit me just fine as well.
