Of course Lapadula may become the next Luca Toni. But my biggest problem with your transfer ideas is that they are based on hope and romanticism.

I know I have also been wrong and hope I am wrong about Lapadula, he may be great, but it is just very risky to spend 10 million on someone who does not have any top flight experience and maybe one or two seasons in Serie B and is 26 already. We can get Immobilie for that money.

Ever Banega looks good. He is free. We should hijack his move to Inter. He would be ideal for the registra position.

    Hamsik / Klaassen - Jorginho / Banega - Allan / Grassi

Would just cost 15 million and we could sell Valdifiori for 8 and David Lopez for 6.

Ever Banega is not coming just to ride the bench... He isnt better than any of our 3 starters on our midfield. He's too risky to use as regista because he cant help himself from dribbling at least 2 guys b4 he passes - if anything hes vice hamsik.

I agree on LAPADULA 10 mil for a vice higuain is just too much imo...

We should chase Ben arfa, herrera/sissoko and klaassen... Perin/sportiello and vrsaljko/zappacosta/that other torino ********

I disagree that 10 million for a vice Higuain is too much. We need someone decent. I think 10 million is too much for Lapadula.

I agree to the rest of what you say.

Perin / Sportiello (though I am not fully convinced by him)
    Vrsalijko / Zappacosta / Perez
Herrera / Sissoko / Banega (I like him)
    Klaassen
    Vice Higuain
    RW

Player of the season in Eredivisie, perfect vice Hamsik. Great vision, great passing skills, great finishing. My only worry is his physical strength. He is injury prone player.

Tell me who will he bench? Not dynamic enough to beat Allan, not disciplined enough to bench Jorginho and just not good enough to replace Hamsik. Explaining football to a Roma fan is like explaining gravity to a chicken sometimes.

Banega is lazy and has a questionable work ethic. But he is so technically gifted, theres no doubt he has talent. If he could sort himself out then I'd replace hamsik with him. But that could be alot to ask for

I would take Banega. He does not have to be sub. He could rotate with all our midfielders. It is a no brainer in my view.

Immobilie is interested in coming back. Costs the same as Lapadula let's bring him home.

Immobile is much better than lapadula...i think he could thrive in a vice higuain role.. also klassen would be a great vice hamsik and if we keep albiol and k2 our D will be in good shape.

Honestly if we get all these guys and a RB along with keeping our core players, this will be our best transfer window since selling cavani

You sound like you'd criticize Picasso for "coloring outside the lines."

Banega is pure class on the ball, a magician and an artist. The reason he's been "stuck" at Sevilla is because he's been a bit of a handful mentally in the past, but he seems to have calmed down. By all means, I hope Banega doesn't come to Serie A, because it almost assuredly won't be for Roma. Outside of Pjanic, Banega would immediately become the most creative, imaginative and classy midfielder in Serie A.

Yeah banega could be what we need to break down buses due to his creativity and control. But I haven't seen us linked to him, instead Klaassen. He isn't as good as banega on the ball but he's young and could develop into a great player.

Does it matter he wont accept a bench nor rotation role and he just is not replacing Hamsik at Napoli. I could imagine Roma getting him when u sell Pjanic or nainggolan.

When we play buses we dont lose because our midfield lacks creativity, it has more than enough - we lose because it lacks "presence" in the opponent's box. And because the bus only have to be parked on our left side.

Our midfield lacks a cutting edge, and its because of Hamsiks lack of control near the final third. He either loses the ball or makes too many back passes. Hamsiks more of the player you'd see leading counter attacks, not breaking down tightly parked buses. If banega was on our team, he'd rotate with hamsik depending on the opposition. Banega reminds me alot like borja valero, just strolls around on the pitch but can unlock defenses with a moment of magic. I'm not against hamsik by any means, but he needs someone to rotate with against relegation fodder teams. Callejons another useless player vs defensive teams, but we haven't really been linked with an alternative.
