Bad example. Morelia goes in to liguilla randomly from time to time and they even made the final a few tournaments ago. That's pretty much the nature of our league sadly. You don't always disprove a trend with a singular instance. Also if you read the post a bit more carefully you'll see I wasn't trying to imply this is the sole reason they're not making playoffs. But several teams have gone through this whole business of buying players in bulk and waiting for the youth system to pan out. Pachuca es el ejemplo más claro de esto.
I respect Mugrelia. They had been a pretty consistent club through the years until TV Apesta gutted them in favor of Aclas. Hopefully Puebla or Jaguares get relegated. Their owners, which happen to be brothers IIRC, are scumbags, and they build teams just to avoid relegation season after season.
Hell, Morelia has more liguilla apperances in the past 5 years than that hot garbage team known as Atlas.
