What strikes me is the amount of goals scored vs France. Things are pretty much in balance for the rest against both countries.

We will play France 25-03-2016 at home and England 29-03-2016 in an away game.

^^I have every home shirt going back to 2006. Don't know if I'll get the new one since they failed to qualify.

I really hate the friday night games btw. Should only be played on saturday, not friday.
Many people work late on friday and might not get home for kickoff time.

It was Blatter and Platini with their stupid ideas

The home is ok. I still prefer Orange and white traditionally, not Orange and Blue.

That said it'll be interesting to see how the Netherlands line-up. Both France and England should have much better teams on paper than us since Robben won't be playing.

Still, I have hope. Would like to see this:

Janmaat - Veltman - van Dijk - Willems
    Clasie
    Klaassen - Sneijder
    Promes - Janssen - Memphis
It's not a bad team really. Maybe Wijnaldum instead of Klaassen, and I wish they would call up Ake to play over Clasie as a 'holder'. Otherwise I still think it's a strong enough team.

Change Veltman for Bruma, Klaassen for Bazoer/Propper and Sneijder for Wijnaldum and that's also the line-up I'd put. Even if I don't like Wijnaldum as midfielder.

I really like both shirts, more than any other previous ones. I like when Holland has a blue away shirt, I bought the 2008 one, this one is even better.

For some reasons I won't buy any of them though.

    Danny Blind re Wales friendly:
"We have had a horrible campaign for the Euros and we need to build security back into the system. A foundation to fall back on. We will play a series of friendlies now which we will approach as if they’re World Cup finals. And we decided to do this with a more fortified defence. We need to get more body, personality in the team, before we go back to the 4-3-3. The World Cup demonstrated that moving from 5-3-2 to 4-3-3 is easier than the other way around. Ideally, our teams need to be able to play both systems. This is how we were able to break open games in Brazil 2014 and that is going to be our vision towards the future.”

So seems like he will stick with 532 yet.. in which case, I imagine he will do:

    Cillessen
    Veltman-van Dijk-Bruma-Blind-Willems
    Wijnaldum-Clasie-Sneijder
    Promes-L de Jong

Easy to switch to 433 with Blind and Clasie next to eachother behind Sneijder.

If we're going 5-3-2 to 4-3-3 wouldn't it make more sense to do this:

Janmaat - Bruma - Blind - van Dijk - Willems
    Clasie - Sneijder - Wijnaldum
    Promes - Janssen

That way you can transition easily from that in defence to this in attack:

Janmaat - Bruma - van Dijk - Willems
    Blind
    Clasie - Sneijder
    Promes - Janssen - Wijnaldum

Either way I guess I am ok with it in principle since it does try to mitigate some of our weaknesses.

Makes sense, except I have a feeling Luuk will play (although I'd also like to see Janssen), and Janmaat has pulled out...
Pieters, Locadia, Propper and Vlaar have also pulled out - replacements so far are Afellay, Karsdorp and van Aanholt.

    So we have :

    RB : Janmaat-Karsdorp
    CB : Van Dijk-Bruma-Veltman-Letschert-Blind ?
    LB : Willems-Van Aanholt-Blind ?
    DM : Clasie-Blind ?
    CM : Bazoer-Klaassen-Sneijder-Wijnaldum-Afellay
ST/Wingers : Promes, Depay, Narsingh, Luuk, Janssen, Huntelaar

One point I'd like to make...I'm not a Daley Blind's hater and God knows how many people hate him...But I don't want him to be a starter. I see him as a multifonctionnal player that is great nowhere. A good player to compensate for injuries or suspensions, a 12th man, but not an interesting material for friendlies where the team needs to take risks and experiment.

Unfortunetaly there's very little chances to see him sitting on the bench.

after Daley Blind got the nod in NT by jus playing few games at DM for Ajax. veltman at RB can always be possibility. Ajax players are always front runners apparently.

also in my opinion 5-3-2 is definitely not the way to go forward especially when the time is right to start building new foundation for orange.if Danny does this vs France it will jus prove jus another medicore and not the right man for the job. after bombing out of Euros this is the right time pick up the pieces and start Strategizing the best possible formation and players around it.
