From the club site, he's apparently a '98 born in Los Angeles with a UK passport: [http://www.fulhamfc.com/-/media/Player/2015_2016/Profile/FosseyRight.jpg?w=444&h=640[/img] Originally an attacking player, he's since been converted into a full-back. A very athletic player who is at national standards for pentathlon events. http://www.fulhamfc.com/player-profiles/marlon-fossey Twitter: https://twitter.com/marlonfossey_ He is a scholar, not yet a pro. Played recently for the club U21s: http://www.westlondonsport.com/fulh...ff-early-as-fulham-youngsters-draw-with-villa The club site references Jersey, which seems in this case to mean Olde Jersey, a Channel Island, rather than the newer Jersey, which is unspeakable.
Saw his name on twitter, had no clue who he is. Looks like he recently got his first U-21 appearance at Fulham.

Who will be the one to come up with a 'Gorillas in the Mist' pun title? Whoever it is, just make sure I get some credit as your muse.
Clinical finish by Marlon Fossey for Fulham U18s in their 3-1 win https://t.co/kwHtkE6VH1— Dallas Cup ⚽️ (@dallascup) January 26, 2016
Marlon Fossey has dual qualification for the US and England. At the end of his scholarship (June 2016) he has a professional contract with Fulham until June 2018 - a very highly regarded player, with good skill & ability.
Marlon Fossey was featured in a "Through the Ranks" article in the match day programme of Fulham FC earlier this year. The article includes some details of Marlon's background Progressing 'through the ranks' at Fulham - next up will be playoff league to be the Premiership U18 pic.twitter.com/QoYjoTUAjo— Trevor Fossey (@TrevorFossey) February 24, 2016
Many thanks and welcome. Care to share any more information -- on the family story, perhaps, or his connection to the U.S. apart from being born here, if there is one? For those of you who like to over-analyze things, you might appreciate that Marlon named Luca DLT as his most skillful teammate in the article shared above.
I know that Marlon has been watched by England, with some interest. He will be in the Dallas tournament. He was identified as a potential Olympian at age 11 (specialising in 110 Mtrs hurdles) - but gave up focus on athletics because of his love of playing soccer. Fulham U18 has just played 24 games in Premier U18 league and have finished in top four to qualify for the playoff league (8 teams) for the premier U18 title. Marlon has been ever-present, playing every minute of every game -which included wins home and away against Arsenal U18 and Tottenham Hotspur U18. Now starting to play for the Fulham U21, with the prospect of playing for the Fulham 1st team next year. A very exciting prospect!
He was born in 1998 - the article got his birthday wrong! But quite right, he could play for either England or the US and he dob causes no confusion! Good planning by his parents! I am Marlon's uncle - and also his FA Authorised Intermediary (Agent). He has good speed and good skills, and a fantastic attitude/motivation to the effort that he needs to continue to put in to reach the very top. I am helping Marlon to develop the mental toughness required. In the past (when he was 12), he was also a 'county-level' gymnast - and still has the capability to complete a double backflip!
De la Torre, who normally plays with 21s now, played for Fulham's U18s today and bagged a goal. Marlon Fossey also played 90' at RB #USYNT— Nats Abroad (@Nats_Abroad) February 27, 2016
USA fans will get a chance to see Fulham U18 at the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, including Marlon Fossey http://www.dallascup.com/home/907248.html

Marlon played in the Fulham U18 team which knocked the USM U20 team out of the Dallas Cup in their group. Looking forward to the semi-finals on Friday, & hope that the Dallas Cup organisers can get the 'international' livestream working for the game (the livestream did not work this evening!)

Live stream worked for only the last 5 minutes. Hopefully will work ok for the final. Unfortunately, Itherefore did not see the game - but Marlon thinks that he played a good game & was involved in two of the Fulham goals. He was mentioned favourably in the Fulham match report http://www.fulhamfc.com/under-18s/2015_2016/dallas-cup/semi-final/fluminense-u19s
