I dont think we cant count Osamah out untill we test him in the field. We dont know how desperate he is to show what Ittihad is missing in defence. I dont want Hamad too in the team now but our youngsters are performing too..
If am coach in any club I will go with 4 CB or min 3 for as many competitions we play considering how ridiculously clubs here dont rotate the squad .

Ahli makes mockery of Ittihad by signing Marquinho on loan from Udinese. I want to see how the managment will lick there wounds when they will watch him play and score goals for rivals..

It's reported they were interested in Neves before that. :D

I don't know about his current form (which doesn't sound great), but I liked him at Ittihad. I think his contribution will be useful in the league as it's their main goal.

Who is going to benched then..Tayseer used to play behing striker all this time. If he goes back to holding midfield than he is waste in my opinion..

Actually I never thought Taiseer is the most creative playmaker, and I hate it when he plays there for the NT. He can perform in an one of the CM roles, or next to Bakheshwein in the the easy home games, that's assuming Marquinho is still playing at high level, otherwise Taiseer will keep his spot.

He is good. He likes to run behind defenders in any games and have good finishing touch. Marquinho will surely get starting place. I think they will line up like this -
    Waleed - Tayseer
    Bassas-Marquinho-Moasher

With Somah, this might be considered too offensive for Gross' usually careful approach. I don't think we will see it in many games besides the relatively easy games at home.

And Taiseer works hard but I don't think he has the final pass or long distance shots, while Marquinho (probably) is better at these qualities which can give him the edge in starting at AM position.

Remember when we had that conversation that this cup's set up is strangely one of the few good decisions that the FA had made?:D If the Crown Prince Cup had the same set up I think we will see some exciting surprises as well.

Taawon drew 2-2 with Ahli in a very entertaining game, one where I though Taawon was the better side and could've won if they were clinical in their finishing. Hilal goes top by 2 points now, but the race will be as tight as it has been IMO.

Ittihad wins Najran 1-0 which keeps them in pace.

As for Ahli, they should avoid this season of having unusual record of unbeaten league team and still did not win the league for two consecutive season.

Hilal and Ahli both drop points against Fateh and Khaleej respectively. Ittihad crushes Raed 6-2 to cut the gap.

Hiring him was clearly the wrong decision and many knew it. I didn't expect Nassr will be in such a mess at all.

Taawon beat Hilal deservedly 1-0 to keep their Asian CL hunt alive. Terrible performance by Hilal especially in the first half where Donis again makes questionable calls in his selection of the starting 11. Salim has been out for some time like Kariri who didn't play in midfield for a while now, I don't know why the coach would start them vs. one of the toughest teams in the league in their own ground. Autaif was really good in the past few games and Nawaf Alabed showed good signs when he returned from his injury.

Anyway Taawon are solid team, drawing with Ahli in Jeddah and defeating Hilal within a couple of weeks isn't a fluke, I don't think they can keep that level in next season if they qualify for CL as it's difficult to keep up with that tough competition AND the league, but if they managed to do it then they deserve something to celebrate for in this season.

Wow, Ittihad are only a win away from being just 2 points off the top! I didn't realize that. It's gonna be really interesting season.

Ahli and Nasser drew 1-1 which means Ittihad can cut the gap and take the lead on top too if they win both up coming matches against Hilal and Ahli. This league is growing fascinating to watch more and more..Bring it on!!!

Shabab under Fathi Aljebal have won 3 games out of 3. They won't be competing for the title but I can see them very much playing a big role in choosing the winner. :D

Plus ACL is round the corner for Ittihad , Hilal and Ahli. If they manage to figure out fatigue issues, then it will be more delightful to watch . Tawoon might take advantage too as all they to play for is the league and can give 100% on the matches plus he rest they will get

Itihad beaten by overconfidence..Drew 1-1 against Qadsiyah failed to close gap on Hilal and Ahli..:(

That was a golden chance for Itti. That missed penalty looks decisive right now.

The refereeing level was interesting. Quadisiyah's PK was pretty clear and the lack of communication over yellow/red card decisions isn't something the officials will be proud about.

The referee error reminded me about Asian Cup 2000 Final in Lebanon where the Referee error caused a Japanese Defender to play the entire match even after receiving 2 yellow cards :)
