    CONFIRMED!!

Jackson Martinez to Guangzhou Evergrande for 42 million euros…

This breaks the CSL transfer record for the THIRD time this window and absolutely smashes Ramires's 28 million euros!
This transfer window keeps on getting crazier and crazier! The quality of the CSL next season will be insane with all that top sides getting stronger.

Wang Jianlin owned 20% of Atletico Madrid. So Jack Ma just bought a player from a club owned by Wang.

From what I've checked Jiangsu suning are seriously rich. The Suning group is one of the biggest retailers in China and their owner, Zhang Jindong is personally worth $5.5 Billion unlike Zhu Jun who in comparison was only a millionaire. Jiangsu can easily afford the jaw dropping multimillion contracts thrown at Ramires and Teixeira.

As for Zhu Jun, how he expected to recoup the money from Drogba's multimillion contract still baffles me, extra attendance money wouldn't have covered it, merchandise would have helped, if there was any, which I never saw. New sponsorship/TV deals would have been hard if not impossible because it was in the middle of the season. Maybe if the other owners shared the cost it could of been done but not at a profit. Anyway from what I've read signing Drogba was for Zhu Jun to show he had made a significant investment in the club and for the other owners to renounce their shares to him, which they didn't. However what still bugs me is if everything did go according to his plan he would of had to pay Drogba's multimillion contract out of his own pocket, which would of been a sizeable chunk of his own personal fortune and even though we now know that a better sponsorship/TV deals were right around the corner the deal still doesn't make any financial sense to me, even now.

As for Jiangsu fans out there I don't envision them living beyond their means. What I'm seeing is similar to Evergrande, which is to buy big to show you we mean business. My only concern for the fans is if the owners get bored of the club and are unable to find buyers, leaving you with a bunch of overpriced players you can't get rid of. However that will only happen if there's no success and the owners get angry on why they're wasting their money.

Both Shandong and Shanghai made it through to the ACL Groupstage. Shandong beat Adelaide 2-1 away while Shanghai beat Muangthong 3-0 at home.

    Shanghai SIPG vs Muangthong

    Shandong vs Adelaide

Good to see Wu Lei still able to shine despite these new signings. Elkeson and Gyan missed a LOT of good chances.

Lavezzi should arrive in china in next few days (weeks), Hebei Huaxian Xingfu vice president manage to seduce him with a two year contrat worth 30M€ (13M€ 1st year and 17M€ 2nd year) €. If my calculation is good Edu will have to leave on loan or get release by Hebei.
