Our CB depth is becoming absurdly good. We have four WC caliber CB's (who all did well at the WC), and now Hedges has emerged, elevating himself above Omar, and letting Cameron play in midfield. Miazga is emerging, Carter-Vickers is emerging, Palmer-Brown is emerging. I think Tommy Redding will have an excellent season at club level in 2016, if he gets consistent playing time. He could be another player to emerge. Our CB depth is unmatched in this confederation. I think Costa Rica is second in this area, as their top 3 is as good as ours, but their depth and young prospect depth isn't there.

US might have the most depth, but that's because none of them are really that good. Mexico's starting CB's and Costa Rica's CB's are better. That statement about Hedges is why we make fun of you guys. Hedges was playing against an Iceland B/C team and now he's good? That's why your fan base can't handle the reality when you guys play against Brazil or another top team. You automatically think a player is NT worthy if they do good against crappy competition, but if they do bad against good competition, it's the coaches fault or the player was playing out of position or someone else should have started. Just think about it, Jozy was the best player in yesterdays game vs. Iceland. Let that sink in a little.
You guys are projecting as well. Right now, you have one good senior team CB. Reyes doesn't even regularly play for his team. If Yedlin now isn't any game because he's now a bench player, so is Reyes because he's a bench player. The rest are either too old, too young, don't have much NT experience or aren't good. We have at least four quality CB's that we know are WC quality, you have one. Hedges didn't play against Iceland, not a Klinsmann favorite. You guys have terrible depth at CB. The guy who was a bench player in MLS is now all of a sudden your best young CB.
because there is no incentive to play a guy who you won't keep after the end of the season no matter what you do, RS has serviceable CBs and they are in no real danger of getting relegated, that's the way it is.
