The draw for the Emperors Cup looks like it will be out on Thursday, July 2nd, according to Kagoshima United's website— richy palmer (@GifuRichy) June 29, 2015
Shimizu out vs. Fujieda MYFC. They were 2-0, it ended 2-4! Out also Nagoya, which lost with a penalty at the last minute.
Am I right in thinking Douglas is cup tied tomorrow for Hiroshima as he is on loan from Tokushima Vortis?
Vissel Kobe 1x0 Yokohama F-Marinos Kashiwa Reysol 2x1 Ventforet Kofu Kawasaki Frontale 0x2 Gamba Osaka Sagan Tosu 4x3 Montedio Yamagata
lol, FC Tokyo vs Sanfrecce game in Nagasaki. And if Tokyo will advance they'll play on Yanmar instead of Ajinomoto. Tough luck for them!
So the 4th ACL spot will go for either FC Tokyo or Kashiwa Reysol. .. but based on Kashiwa's form/performances lately I doubt they will win the cup.
speaking of which, Tokyo still has not announced the next coach.. I guess we won't find out until they end their EC journey
Not yet but things to remember are: - Cristiano scored a free kick hat-trick against Vegalta - FC Tokyo fans singing their お正月 chant in the half time and ending up beaten by Hiroshima (just like it was in 2013) - First Usami goals since mid September (he's now happy papa with his daughter born two days ago if I remember it well) - some great goals scored by Urawa against Kobe
via GunnerTNB Vegalta vs Reysol. Samurai Eduardo with the decisive PK. Tokyo vs Sanfrecce. Minagawa was again starter, but was replaced after the hour mark by the hero Asano. Gamba vs Sagan. Nagasawa Shun the super sub. What a nice touch at the second goal of Gamba. Vissel vs Urawa. The nice goals of Reds as Majster said.
Urawa won 1-0 against Kashiwa Reysol, after an extra time goal by former Kashiwa striker Tadanari Lee. This means the 4th ACL spot will go to FC Tokyo.
