Mui Munoz and the lack of finishing cost us the game Same sh*t every year with Mexican clubs Overrated piece of sh*t league

know how yall feel, it's like that every year for us. Fck Guangzhou Evergrande and their real estate mogul and Alibaba. They're pretty much the Real Madrid of Asia, dominating their domestic league and Asian Champions League. The owners are willing to pour shit load of money on that team. They're pretty much Chinese National Team + few expensive mercs.
Most of the team is actually Chinese though, I give them props for that. America is owned by one of the biggest TV networks in the world, 50% of the team is South American, and they still failed.
yeah but they have the best Chinese players, it's like America having Vela, Chicharito, Herrera and the two Dos Santos Brothers + some mercs, then you have the Mexican version of that team. Also they need to minimize foreign players because ACL only allows 4 foreigners in a team for their games, one of them having to be Asian. Chinese players aren't that good, our B-team beat their A-team pretty convincingly.
such an embarrassing performance. that's what happens when you hire some clown coach, they played like a damn rec league team out there with constant long balls, having no clue what to do once they had a goal. no intensity, looking mostly clueless. it may work in the shitty mexican league but the quality in coaching was clearly evident munoz, i still can't believe this guy is being considered for the national team. lose some weight and look professional and he easily gets the first goal. the second goal, well the science of neuroplasticity says his little brain isn't a lost hope. so over rated. it's probably better they didn't advance anyway, seeing how easily this chinese team got through america's defense through out the game, it would have been painful to watch against barcelona also, they should rotate this tourney out of asia at some point. is the united states or mexico seriously not interested in hosting this thing or is there some rule that it has to stay in asia?
Everybody thought America was gonna advance lol, I thought so too. Didn't watch the game but reading the comments it seems America dominated yet they didn't advance? Weird
they sort of dominated. definitely looked to have more quality, more opportunities, but they wasted a ton of chances. darwin started and mis touched 98% of the balls which were passed to him, benedetto made a few passes when he should have shot. mioses munoz made two inexcusable mistakes which had a direct impact on the game, but over all america didn't look focused, played incredibly sloppy and couldn't protect their one goal lead when the chinese team barely had any chances up until that point. i had a feeling they were going to lose when, after having scored, they looked as though they thought they had the game won and were running the ball down the field on the counter like a bunch of children on saturday morning, clueless as to what to do in the final third. stupid ambriz didn't make any subs until they were scored on. he is obviously clueless as his track record as a coach shows.
you guys got beat in the Copa Libertadores final vs brazzy team lol and got eliminated in the preliminary round on CCL...lol
This. Really terrible game management from Ambriz but the players were extremely wasteful in front of goal. Any Mexican team that goes to the CWC should watch this game in order to see what NOT to do.
You can say that about just about every previous performance from a Mexican team at the CWC. Always outplay that first opponent only to miss chance after chance and give up weak goals to lose the game. It has become like the WC round of 16 game, in that you just know how it will play out even before the ball is kicked.
Pasa por desconocimiento del rival. Se la pasaron hablando del Barcelona por meses sin tonar en cuenta el juego previo.
Whereas Scolari read America like a book. He took off his Brasilian front three, one by one, during the second half and added pace to exploit the spaces left by Samudio and Paul Aguilar. It was soooo predictable but some how Ambriz didn't see it coming.
