I would keep him on the left but put him in a defensive role with limited offensive assistance. He moves up ONLY when other players moved up before him and with one defender behind him.

Whoever is telling him to run full speed needs to stop that. He becomes gervinho when he's running first speed. Stop spreading your legs so ********ing far. Your not a hooker.

Finishing is our biggest weakness right now. Blame the defense all you want but there were plenty of chances to be had and they didn't finish them.

Sušić in my eyes had a better offensive game primarily due to effectiveness of Miske.

Mesa however has done very well with our defense, except this lack of finishing is just frustrating and ruining any progress he makes.

Blame the players or the coach but either way it has to be fixed. First Ireland game we had a good 3 chances to score. Second game, 2 clear cut plays, header whiffe and goal bar ricochet.

Old tactic used to be get the first goal in the first half, now it's turned to get the first goal in the first half while maintaining possession 60/40. That's alot more to ask.

Well see how Mesa does the rest of the way if he stays. Which I hope he does.

Nice we can open up qualifiers with two easy breezy wins against a weaker and overrated opposition , then the tough part starts against the island who has tormented us for Euro Qualifiers , right ? @108thLegendary

If we can get 11 points in the first four games that would be an excellent start to the campaign. I'm not sure what to expect from Greece, they have been bad for a while but they have a talented u-19 generation coming up that won the Euros a couple years ago. Plus we have a history of reviving teams that previously struggled: France, Romania, Slovakia (lol)

 

The last game against against Estonia in Tallinn will probably be my first time seeing them play live.
