What happened to Wallace from Monaco? How did Ely get that starting spot over him so quickly?

Doria has severely declined. He has always made his fair share of mistakes, but his overall play has gotten worse.

Lucas Silva with 2 assists. Anyone knows how he is doing at OM?

Good Game for Brazil , especially in the first half . G. Jesus , Gabigol and Luan were good, although the best in the game have been Fred and Lucas. In the second half , after the second goal our team slept on the pitch and the United States have improved. I've seen many games Brazil facing the United States and I do not recall seeing any US player doing what that CB did to G. Jesus in the first half. That guy (i guess his name is Carter) assaulted G. Jesus without ball inside the penalty area. Should be a red card and penalty for Brazil. Sunday I will be in Belém to watch the second game . It will be good. Just will not be better than today's game against Argentina. This will be a war ...

That's the video showing G. Jesus been beaten inside the penalty area (go to 2:48 minutes):

Finally a good referee who punish the goalie for that thing with 6 seconds.

Seriously what's up with Santos ' Gabriel? Why does he wear make up / eye liner to play football? He looks ridiculous.

I find it hilarious that you guys resort to questioning Nigerian age after they won, it just screams bitter and sore losers.

Wendell, Fabinho, Felipe Anderson, Lucas Silva all looked good first time around.

Along with Gabigol and Gabriel Jesus. Those 6 are looking the most likely to take the next step to the senior team.

It's better to keep him in the U-23 setup for now since they are playing friendlies.

My friends, from what a saw yesterday, we have 3 players ready to play for our A team: Fred, Gabigol and Felipe Anderson. By the way, when Fred, Lucas and Luan came to the pich our team played much better. Kenedy had a stomach problem and did not play. And i have a feeling he will not be in Rio2016.

Fred played for the senior team a couple of times and wasn't very good. He needs to leave Ukraine and develop his game further.

I think our team u23 will represent Brazil in Copa America Centenario 2016. That's because the event will be from 3rd to 26th June and the Olympic Games 5-21 August 2016. We will add Marquinhos (PSG ) and Rafinha (Barcelona) that are u23 . Neymar will be 24 in 2016 and will be one of the players above 23 years. The others 2 I believe that will be a keeper ( Jeferson , Alisson or Grohe ) and a CB ( may be Miranda) . We will have a good team for the two competitions.

I would like to see Neymar, a experience CB like Miranda or T. Silva and a GK.

Let's just put a harness on Neymar and ride/whip him until he collapses. Fun times.

Come on now let's not be naive. CBF wants him to and Brazilians do. You have to protect a player from himself especially one who loves the game as much as Neymar. If he didn't want to play people would go crazy. He really shouldn't play in the olympics and if Brazil can't win it without him that's just sad. I remember last year someone at the cbf said he would play way b4 he mentioned anything, excuse me for my cynicism but he needs a summer off. Playing for the selecao is more like a job than playing for club regardless.

You could make a case that he had a summer off this year.

Stop it. He trained and lost plenty of time to the selecao also played. Plus even when he was out of selecao camp he had to keep hearing about it for the whole summer, if you call that a summer off than to each his own.

Gilmar Rinaldi gave an interview indicating that our team u23 will represent Brazil in the Copa America Centenario. I think it will be just that , even though I 'm pretty sure that Neymar will only play the Olympics . That's because we also have the playoffs for 2018 and Barcelona will not give up the player for a long time . Neymar will not be in the Copa America . And I think Messi will play at Copa America to see if Argentina can win something after more than 20 years.
