    Can't FIFA cancel
    All the NT friendlies???

    This is ridiculous.

This opens up doors for copy cats across Europe or even more attacks from Isis in crowded stadiums, plazas, bars, etc

Griezmann's sister was at the Eagles of Death Metal show and escaped alive. What a sad day that the terrorists focused on music and fussball events, both things I love, to destroy and terrorize. Unbelievably sad.

Has there been any link to the bomb threat at die Mannschaft's hotel and the subsequent terrorism?

You need substantial preparation for attacks like this. The threat is the same in a week or a month, it can happen again. This is the sad truth. But why the hell should they stop playing? Doesn't make sense at all.

Koch just said on ZDF this was due to *Didier Deschamps*. He even offered them rooms at Clairefontaine.

In all honesty, France handled this entire situation very well. As a Nation they should be proud of their response to these heinous attacks.

Makes me wonder what France 2016 will be like....

Several media outlets are reporting that one of the suicide bombers had a ticket for the game, but was stopped by security at the entrance, where he then blew himself up. That must have been the loud detonation heard during the game. As horrible as the whole evening was, it seems a larger catastrophy was just about averted. I can't imagine what would've happened if that terrorist had managed to get into the stadium among the fans.

I agree that the French security at the Stade de France handled the whole situation exceptionally well.

I just don't see how they thought they'd get through. Every game I go to you get patted down.

Well as I understand it was the plan to distract the security with the first bomb with all of them running to ground zero, then the 2nd can get into the stadium more easily to cause a deadly stampede.
