In all seriousness, this was coming for River. They've been appalling all year.

Don't even bother responding to that guy. He supports a club thats never won a conmebol trophy and he comes on and talks shit about river constantly.

That's 2 games in the whole year. In 2014, they were consistently good and won everything deservedly.

Currently below 5th in the league and only won the Libertadores because everyone else was worse. They scraped through the groups and were lucky that Boca were even worse in the round of 16.

Credit where its due to beating Cruzeiro and Tigres so comfortably though. Aside from that I haven't been impressed at all with them. They aren't ready to take on Barcelona.

Hahahahaha what a joke of a post. Do you think I care that we've never won a CONMEBOL trophy? I would love to have won as many as River has but I don't gloryhunt like you. My guess is you have 0 relations to Buenos Aires and live somewhere in Mendoza and only support Riverplate because they are a successful club.

Your second point is stupid as well. Yes, I hate Riverplate but I give credit where its due, as I said they were excellent consistently last year but they haven't been any good this year. I've seen them, and have had many others tell me the same thing.

I would love Riverplate to beat Barcelona next month mind, I don't think they will though the way they are playing.

No team in south america are ready to take barcelona.

I live in the province of buenos aires in the partido of vicente lopez, less than 10 km from El Monumental and my grandfather and parents were socios of the club of the club long before i was born. If you think River Plate fans are glory hunters you obviously don't know the history of the club. River went 18 years without a trophy from 1957 to 1975, then just a few years ago we went to the second division where I am proud to say I went to every home game that season but 1.

If you're looking for glory hunting fans, look know further than boca juniors supporters under the age of 30

Do you? Then why do you constantly insult me for the team I support? I don't give a shit about the amount of CONMEBOL trophies Universitario has, to insult that though when its irrelevant is childish. If I was another Argentinian club, maybe I'd understand but its still pretty irrelevant. Point is, stop acting like a gloryhunter.

As for yesterday, happy Riverplate went out. Even though I'll cheer them on in the CWC, I am a bit sick of them winning everything.

Santa Fe will win in the final in my opinion but I do have to give credit to Huracan. I did NOT expect them to reach the final.

Surely Santa Fe will win this final, idk if i can handle another colombian team final loss so soon after the last one. Although wouldn't surprise me too much if it did

I watched most of the return leg against Sportivo Luqueño and I wasn't too impressed. Although, the way the Paraguayan team was playing also made it hard to play well. Lets see what they can bring against Huracán.

that game was horrible. But I think Santa Fe is a well structured team. solid in defense but lacking a bit in the offensive.
The attitude of the players is also going to be key in the final.

This Santa Fe side isn't quite as good as Atletico Nacional from last year in my opinion but Huracan isn't River from last year either. I think Santa Fe will win the final.

Nacional are more talented but Santa Fe are much better tactically. I love watching how they operate, wish they had Nacional's money to spend though.

Although, I think Nacional may have improved in that aspect now with Rueda, if they win the league we'll see them back in the Copa Libertadores (Nacional)
