As noted by @ussoccer97531, '98 Hunter Ashworth is with New Zealand at the U17s. Abraham Romero interview with FIFA: http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/new...s-romero-doing-his-parents-proud-2729295.html The Tri keeper is now proving his worth to the rest of the world at Chile 2015. As well as boasting a save rate of 85.7 percent, the second-highest in the competition behind Brazil’s Juliano, he has shown his class time and again, not least in diving full stretch to keep out a well-placed free-kick in the goalless draw with Australia in the group phase.
Romero starts again for Mexico against Ecuador's U17s: http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/matches/round=271779/match=300298412/index.html#nosticky E. Lara is on the bench.

We should be hoping Lara doesn't play, instead someone else fills in for the starting RB. If he gets provisionally cap-tied, that'll likely be it for his chances to play for the USA. It'd be way too risky for him to provisionally cap-tie himself to Mexico, and then file his one time switch to the USA, it only limits him to one option, instead of two.
Very unlikely because of the way the system works unless he doesn't care about limiting his options and really just wants to play for the USA. I'm not usually one with "sources", but on this case I've heard unlike Romero, he got along well with his teammates and liked playing for the USA, but couldn't tolerate the coach and alleged favoritism by the coach of certain players. Mexico swooped in and got this kid into their program. Lara is the one of the Mexican-Americans that I think could really be a big loss for our program, which is why I keep mentioning this, although others aren't. I think this is going to be recognized as a much bigger mistake in three or four years than our fans currently view it as. Good for Mexico the work they've done to get this kid.
pachuca you mean... i think that the chanses of leaving mexico for usa dwindle a little every time mexico moves to the next round of this world cup. beeing in a successful team is imoprtant for bonding with your peers and colors imo.
