Venezuela and Bolivia are the only countries who have never put one of their teams at the final match. And Peru has only put 2 of their teams in that match, which is about the same as Mexico's 3 times. None of these 4 countries has ever had one of their teams to win it. Everybody else has won it at least once, together with getting other of their teams as defeated finalists.

So YES, as posted before, very close to the worst...

If you want to it in another way, there are basicly 2 categories :

    1. Those who have won it

    2. Those who still keep on dreaming that sometime one of their own will get their ticket to the first category.
And Mexico is one of these last one's ....:p

It started getting called Club World Cup, when they started giving all the crap from the rest of the world a chance to feel as if they were among the cream, where only a couple of african teams have proved being worthy of such title, but almost all the time has the teams from Conmebol confront the ones from Uefa at the final match. And when the 2 teams of Africa (Mazembe and Raja) did reach the final match, Conmebol teams beated Asian teams for the 3rd place.

While mexican teams have even lost against the teams of Oceania (Now that is something to be really ashamed for) :p

And the only 2 times that mexican teams have reached 3rd place, they did it thanks to the Conmebol players, which had to score for them (many of them have been chilean, btw), as if it only depended on mexican players, they would've probably lost them as well)

Now, now - CONMEBOL has hardly been very imposing in recent years when playing the "emerging" confederations in the CWC semis. Let's take the customary five year view:

    2010 Internacional - TP Mazembe 0:2
    2011 Santos - Kashiwa Reysol 3:1
    2012 Corinthians - Al Ahly 1:0
    2013 Atletico Mineiro - Raja Casablanca 1:3
2014 San Lorenzo - Auckland City 2:1 AET

Only one victory with a difference of more than one goal and an extra time win over semi-pro outfit Auckland? Not to mention two losses? San Lorenzo was fortunate that CAF had such a bad year.

While the UEFA winner looks more and more invincible the Libertadores champions are increasingly seen like a wounded animal by the rest. :D

Let me remind you, that for 2012, Corinthians also only required one goal to beat the Uefa Champion (Chelsea) as well, to crown themselves as world champions.
For the 2008 and 2009 editions, the Uefa champions also crowned themselves over the Libertadores champs, thanks to one goal, as well.

One goal of diference is a lot, when with that goal you can separate winners from losers.
    .
    .

Oh, and the same as for mexican teams, Uefa teams without the presence of Conmebol players in their rosters, would be almost hopeless to win by themselves. While Conmebol teams are made up of basicly Conmebol players.

Mexico is comfortably the third best league in the Americas

I'm sorry it upsets you so much, but it's true

Best league is not equivalent to say the most succesful in achieving international wins over everybody else.

For the case of mexican teams, if you take away from them, all their triumphs obtained from their less than average confederation, they got almost nothing. Reasons why, nobody gives a crap over them at the international scene. And also the reason why the mexican federation seems desperate attempting to insert themselves in more prestigious championships (specially from Conmebol).

The only issue where the mexican league currently tops others, it's in the amount of money that they move. An issue, that in not so much time from now (I give them no more than 5 years from now), MLS and the USSF is going "to eat them alive".....

And when this last thing actually happens, you are going to have to change the title of this topic to : " Will the mexican league ever win again in Concacaf ?...." :p

This is a very poor attempt at trolling

Seems like you care a lot

Meanwhile we have Conmebol begging and kissing our feet to play in your tournaments ;)

    :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    Them coattails

Top to bottom, Mexico are stronger than all South American leagues not named Brazil and Argentina. The very best teams from Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, and Ecuador, can beat the top sides from Mexico. The problem is that there's a huge drop off in quality with their mid table and lower table teams.

An issue, that in not so much time from now (I give them no more than 5 years from now), LigaMx and Femexfut is going "to eat them alive".....

Nope. I don't, particularly, care for you guys.

Conmebol, only cares for the money that comes along with you guys. As we need and want money, to accept your teams with the money you bring, it's the "lesser of two evils"...... :D

Why is this @Rickdog mut bitching about LigaMX clubs having South American players ?
SMH duse sounds like your typical nagging woman complaining just too complain .

    :coffee:
LigaMX Clubs have the money and I'd prefer they sell their Mexican Players to Euro Clubs & buy good South Americans too replace them .
