I posted this in the German NT thread but this might be interesting for you guys too. Talking about the German NT: since 2005 only Müller and Badstuber made it from Bayern to their first NT cap. Kroos was loaned out to Leverkusen when he made his debut 2010.

Here is Gaudino's father quoted: "FCB prefers to buy excellent players instead of developing them. The club needs titles, at any sacrifice." The youth players: Gaudino, Green and Kurt have hardly any chance to get playing time. Rummenigge is quoted: "Basically, it's more difficult to become a regular starter for Bayern than it was 10 years ago." Effenberg is stating that the club has got no time for talents to develop, they need strong players now quoting the leaving of Bastian Schweinsteiger, who was not replaced by Hoijbjerg or Rode but with 37 mil replacement Arturo Vidal.

Of course, Bayern are similar to Chelsea, Man City, Real Madrid. Win now, the youth players rarely make it and are eventually sold.

    For, like, 2-3 days?

The last RL regular season game is on a Staurday and the playoff first leg is on the following Wednesday with the return leg on the Saturday after - which is the last Saturday of May. The first team's regular season is already over on the first Saturday.

Bayern II CAN be assured of a playoff spot many weeks before the playoff actually take place. Unless there is some rule that a player cannot switch more than once a season between the Regionalliga and Bundesliga IS possible to have 1) a playoff spot in the regionalliga and 2) the Bundesliga title wrapped up early enough to bring Bayern II players up for time management, let them train and play at a higher level, then send them back down for the playoffs. Two seasons ago big Bayern clinched the Bundesliga with 7 weeks left.

All @comoesa did was hope for a positive scenario that would make it easier for JG to get first team time at the end of the year. Nobody said it's likely, nobody said it will happen, BUT it IS a possible scenario. SMH

Hey now! Bayreuth is some decent and honorable city in Upper Franconia with a rich history and it is the venue of the world famous Bayreuth Festival. The other is Europe's Rhode Island and no one has seen them in a Euro for 15 years and therefore they must suck so badly at soccer that pretty much everybody could easily beat them!

Bayreuth is also the place where Wagner established his lair, and where Freddy Nietzsche threw a massive tantrum and broke up with his former mentor.

But, on the soccer map, they're nothing. Still, glad for our kid scoring on them.

I think it's more likely that Bayern II will be out of the play-off race a few weeks early, which would have pretty much the same effect, I guess. They would have to win the league to qualify, and right now (without following Bavarian football all too closely) it looks like Regensburg might run away with the title.

They had a pretty good team in the late 70s/early 80s, missing out on Bundesliga promotion narrowly. In the last 20 years or so they have had more insolvencies than promotions probably.

If Bayern Leverkusen was interested in Green, he would probably be open to a loan.

Looks CL related. Javi Martinez seems to always be in these selfies with Green. I wonder if a certain bigsoccer poster told the big defender to look out for Green.

Music Hall there was bombed out during the war. Reopened in 1951 for the Festival, playing Beethoven's 9th. MAybe the best recording of the past century of that piece. Truly amazing if you get a chance to listen. Probably on You Tube.

Yes, it's there, Furtwängler, Bayreuth 1951 --but the quality is not good enough. The EMI CD is superb.

Because its about Bayern Munich. Are you seriously trying to ask why Bayern Munich news is relevant to Julian Green?

Some Bayern news is relevant but not all. Hojbjerg leaving on loan doesn't effect Greens situation. This thread is about Green.
