M'vila is still only 25. Sadly his attitude is that of someone half his age... hopefully the Premier League will do him good
Florian Thauvin has become Newcastle United's fifth signing of the summer, after completing a switch from Marseille. The highly-rated 22-year-old French winger, who can also be deployed as a forward, has agreed a five-year contract on Tyneside and will wear the number 20 shirt. "I am delighted to be a Newcastle United player," said Thauvin. "I have come from France to a really big club and am very happy to be here. "It is a big honour to know that Newcastle have been after me for such a long time and that they wanted me that much. They have put their trust in me and I am looking forward to playing for the team." he's going to do fine its going to give him caps might be a better player the cabaye
At least Cabella got away in time before wasting his career. Thauvin will see it as a stepping stone but Newcastle is such a hit and miss club. Much more miss of course!
these players leaving for shitty teams like newcastle are desperate.... there so many reputable that they go to in england
He's very underrated, trust me. I've come across so many people who thought he wasn't good enough to play for France, people who thought he wasn't even good enough to play for Lyon (this was a long time ago), people who thought he wasn't big enough for PSG... etc. Like literally a year ago, a lot of people were saying he was only good enough as a sub, that he wouldn't do well at a bigger club like Atletico... etc. He is highly rated, yes, but that doesn't mean he's rated highly enough.
By who though? If its a few internet "experts" its doesn't mean to say he is. Theresnot a team in any league apart from barca or real who wouldn't love to have in as a sure starter. Those two he could also start for of course, but it wouldn't be a sure thing initially at least.
It's just my perception of things through talking to various people, who support many different clubs. Like I said though, of course people know he's an excellent player, but he's still not given the recognition he deserves.
no way he could be the MOST underrated. considering his not inconsequential stardom he'd have to be platini, zidane and desailly all rolled into one for that. the most underrated french player right now is bafé frigging gomis. on fire and no one knows it.
Just finished watching the Sevilla - Atletico game replay (their game was on at the same time as PSG) and Griezmann was truly spectacular, yet another man of the match performance. He was literally everywhere and he had two assists. It was really unlucky that he couldn't get his name on the scoresheet since he had quite a few good opportunities including one shot that hit the post. From that game, Trémoulinas did well enough offensively, but not impressive defensively. Gameiro came on as a sub and did pretty well. From earlier today in the Roma - Juve game, Digne did really well for his debut. Evra, however, got a red card and Pogba was not as impressive as usual.
Benzema just shit a brick. Seriously though, I hate Man U but I want this kid to succeed if only for Les Bleus who desperately need an in form striker.
well wit that debut .. it should be good confidence booster ... he will build on it the way he took those defenders with ease was amazing
