A player named Shelby Printemps is listed as "Inactive," which presumably means something, on the first team roster of Maltese club Ghanjnsielem FC: Shelby Printemps inactive http://www.ghajnsielem.com/ghajnsielemfc/team/first_players.html A cached Wiki page says he was born in Miami in 1990: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_Printemps Transfermarkt says he plays for Sannat Lions, also in Malta. Who knows.
His name comes up on two occasions in September for Ghanjnsielem but nothing after that from what I can find for Ghanjnsielem or Sannat. http://www.gozofootball.net/1stdiv/index.html
Oct 3, 2010 Għajnsielem welcomed back N'dayi Kalenga who returned to the Club for his third stint with the Blacks. He replaced Shelby Printemps who was released by the Club. http://www.ghajnsielem.com/ghajnsielemfc/news/report201004.html ______________________________________________ .
According to a Facebook page, it looks like Printemps was at Rocha FC in Uruguay at one point a few years ago. He may have found his way to Monroe CC last year. He's now at Optik Rathenow in Germany. They play in the Regionalliga Nordost (fourth level).
Of tangential interest here, I was looking at their roster and noticed that while I hate generalizations, this teammate of SB's looks very little like someone you might expect to be named Janek Bonasewicz: That led me to this line: Also impressive in the centre was Janek Bonasewicz, apparently the son of a member of the Haiti national team that competed in the 1974 World Cup. While Haiti’s record of zero points and fourteen goals conceded at that competition isn’t exactly the most stirring of recommendations, Bonasewicz showed good vision and distributed the ball well. http://www.nodicemagazine.com/2011/07/25/a-stern-test-for-tebe/ EDIT: Haiti was the North and Central American region's only team in that tournament. The squad list is here... http://www.fifa.com/tournaments/archive/worldcup/germany1974/teams/team=43908/index.html ... but I don't see anybody named Bonasewicz on there. Small world we live in.
Haitian-American Shelby Printemps got the start and scored the lone goal of the game in Optik Rathenow’s 1-0 win over RB Leipzig II in German Regionalliga action over the weekend. @bungadiri @Friedel'sAccent -- Let's move to YA Academy and rename "Shelby Printemps at Optik Rathenow"
Wow, totally forgot about that guy. Here's this year's first-team roster page: http://www.fsv-optik.de/index.php?section=team&teamsection=mannschaft
May I suggest "By the looks of it, Shelby Printemps springs up at Optik Rathenow" now THAT is wordplay...

The Marbella FC organization says he signed with a Greek second-division team last month: Shelby Printemps signs his first pro contract with Panelefsinakso [DMN: They probably mean Panelefsiniakos] FC of the 2nd Division in Greece. In the next 6-months Shelby has the objective to demonstrate his talents in order to land a contract in the first division. http://marbellaunitedfc.com/mufcs-shelby-printemps-signs-contract-with-greek-pro-club/ Couldn't quickly find a working club site and their Wiki page didn't mention him. Have not searched extensively.
He's there on Soccerway as a Haitian player. Apparently has 1 goal in 6 games. http://us.soccerway.com/teams/greece/paneleysiniakos-ao-eleysinas/2936/ The team is struggling with 7 points from 15 games.
