Would love to see Ivan and Oscar Córdoba to get involved with the federation. Mario yepes will be great for dept Cali youth team as a start to his coaching career.

Yup just mentioning it because it is what he said he wants. Just funny how our old stars are never given a shot to coach minus Gio Hernandez.

Most coaches in Colombia were former players

leonel, pecoso, osorio, hernan torres, flavio torres, santiago escobar, santa , gamero, vanemerak , lunari , quintabani and alexis mendoza were fpc players

As well bermudez , valderrama and rincon had their shots and they sucked

He is trying to decide if he will retire and becomE a coach or play one more season

Do you guys think any Colombian teams would give him a shot? I would prefer if he ran for our federation president. The other guys are corrupt as shit

I see it more likely an Argentine team gives him a shot. But you never know.

Yea always shocked when players retire and automatically get coaching jobs never really see that other then Gio Hernandez that didn't do that bad with Uniotonoma at the end with their limited roster. As much as I disliked la princessa as a player I hope he does well as a coach

I've always loved Yepes very much, going to miss him a whole lot when he's gone for good. My personal all time favorite colombian CB.

Think he has a better shot at coaching in Europe them in Colombia. The 10 assholes that go from
Team to team don't give much room for new coaches to get a shot.

Might be the new Dept Cali coach... Pretty interesting but Nacional wants him too as part of their staff.

Do you think would be better for him to go trail by fire at Cali or be an assistant coach to someone like Rueda or Pekerman?

I remember back in the day when he played for Cali in the Libertadores Final against Palmeiras. The guy bleeds Cali green. I think it would be tough for him to pass up a chance to be their manager.

Yea def pick a manager roll but just saying to be groomed by World Cup Calibur coaches or just go for it.

My fear is that they will blame shit on him because of Cali's situation. That team is mostly likely going to be completely dismantled come this summer. I'd love to have a Colombian Siemone or for him to do what the former player was able to do with River plate

I don't want Yépes as Cali's manager, at least not yet, I love him so much, eterno capitán (after El Pibe). People will be waiting his first mistake to destroy him and he doesn't deserve it.
