Both volantes have zero shots for the entire tournament...

I don't really care how Conembol selects referees, at the end of the day they have an impossible job and people need to relax and understand it. I've watched pretty much every game this tourney and the referring has been pretty consistent, every ref has let play go and sure it's been physical but they have been consistent. The emotional roller coaster you've been on has seemed like trolling to me but maybe that is your personality. You know the sang it's never as good as they say it is and it's never as bad as they say it is. I just save outrage for when I do notice extremely poor officiating. The fact is the officiating has been fine which is actually better than we usually get. You and Century have a similiar posting style so i'd expect you to agree with him. There's always some reason a brazilian team loses in South America other than the Brazilian team just not being good enough on that day. Huge Brasileirao homer here but I never let it blind my objectivity.

Writing style isn't the same as line of thought.

Apparently, you do not know how corrupt things can be in South America. Brazil struggles with that, and some of its neighbors are arguably even worse.

Here's evidence of a Brazilian team losing for reasons "other than the Brazilian team just not being good enough on that day" (from an Argentine website).

South American people have horror stories of Brazil to believe it or not lol. Like I said the officiating has been fine this Copa America and it wasn't bad during the libertadores. Every country has complaints about officiating but like I said anyone who has watched this tourney knows the officiating isn't bad, I don't know how else to say this. At a certain point we have to relax and enjoy the games. Not everything's some big political cover up or shrewd planned agenda. Actually writing style can tell you an insane amount about a person. Brasitusa and you kind of ruin it for the rest of the brazilian fans who go post in other sections but we can agree to disagree century, i'm not taking the bait and getting in a flame war with you. The dudes on the conembol board all agree with me.

In this Copa America, from what I've seen, I haven't really noticed any grotesque refereeing errors. I was referring to Libertadores play. Now, it's odd you conveniently ignored the evidence I showed you and then go off on a tangent about how another poster and I "ruin it for the rest of the Brazilian fans."

"The dudes on the CONMEBOL board all agree with you" - do the female posters, however few, also agree? Because certainly you took a poll, didn't you.

I can tell you're not a very good writer. But that's just my assessment.

Well, for one thing, my personality doesn't lead me to question fellow posters' personalities which are none of my business. I prefer to be kind to mostly everybody, except those who are nasty towards me. I'm also not ashamed of being passionate about soccer, and I'm humble enough to confess when it clouds my judgment. I don't consider myself infallible but I wouldn't exchange my passion - which I see as the spice of life - for any other stance. I also refrain from calling posters with a history of nice posting (like mine, with 1 rep for every 2 and a half posts), trolls. I fail to see how someone who collects a rep every two and a half posts is ruining the experience for everybody else. It is interesting to notice that some people who are here since 2009 haven't collected as many reps as I did in one year, and their average is one for more than 10 posts. Pray tell, where are all the people who are disgusted with my posting pattern?

Whats the point in removing Fernandinho who looks way better than he did at the WC for Sideshow Bob? It's obvious now that leaving DL on the bench is the best decision Dunga has made.

Conmebol reffing has come a long way from days like this:

to that was the worst international reffing I'd ever seen in my life. The yellow card to that criminal tackle on Branco and Chile's FK that originated the goal were especially pathetic.

I'm just not satisfied with Fernandinho, he is not a DMF and definitely not a worthy replacement for Luis Gustavo. Not sure what Casemiro would offer (he should get more minutes IMO) and Fred is Fred. That leaves DL as the only option...

Definitely different times. But that ref was bought. That's a red card even back then.

Remember that Chile on the 2nd game had that whole incident with Roberto Rojas and were banned from international football for I think 5 years.

yeah, not only were they banned and missed out 1994. But they were also eliminated by us in every world cup that they've participated since, 1998, 2010,2014. The Gods of soccer were not happy with their behavior in those 2 matches.

I wasn't impressed with David Luiz last game as a midfielder. He still looked like he was all over the place.

There is a 3rd place game in this tournament. So, I guess semifinals will do.
