I havent paid much attention to Ligue 2 the past few years but I will this year because of Red Star, PFC, and Lens. I hope Lens will be allowed in since they still haven't resolved their financial problems yet. Also there's only 2 promotions and relegations this year and Im not sure how I feel about it.
Btw, all time Ligue 2 attendance record for a match is Red Star vs St. Etienne at the Stade de France 1999 (48,018) If Red Star's home match vs Lens is at the SdF then hopefully that record can be broken.
ligue 2 looking pretty entertaining this year wow RC lens Nancy Paris fc Redstar Metz Le Havre Sochaux Valenciennes Tours Auxerre
There should be a complaint from clubs that there are only 2 promotion spots. At least make the 3rd spot a playoff. I would pick Metz and Nancy as the favorites.

I read it was very dull. Not a lot of goals and low attendances everywhere. I was most interested in seeing who would draw more fans at home, PFC or Red Star and PFC won that one. Granted it wasn't a big gap but to me I suspect PFC's numbers to keep growing and Red Star is gonna have a tough year drawing fans.
I think its the best they could do with limited resources. Doesnt look as good as GG ASSE renovations but at least its not some new stadium generic bowl design. Why grey seats I have no friggin idea.
