I love David Luiz, but this was absolutely horrible. You have to get over shit and compose yourself and today Brazil was nervy and David Luiz was a big part of that. He needs to be benched and if that hurts him more than tough luck to him.

    Butcherzinho.. 10 fouls no cards.

Yet Neymar gets a card for removing the foam before taking a free kick. That referee just wanted to show off. I mean honestly he could have given him a yellow for moving the ball, since that's against the laws of the game, but taking the foam...

This guy should never ref again, clearly he's biased against a player. Can't be a ref and be biased on personal opinion of a player.

It was an entertaining game and we actually played well. The finishing was dire though. Ref was pure crap and I agree send him home should not ref another game.

I love David Luiz but enough. He just too unpredictable and it every game. Either he excellent or a liability. He should know better than to try to control that ball there.

I defended him because people were going overboard on the criticism. That doesn't mean I don't think he's without his faults. I prefer him paired with TS rather than Miranda. If Dunga wants to play Miranda, I'd pair him with TS.

    T. Silva is 30!! The same age as Miranda so age has nothing to do with it!! It's abit personal I think!! Dunga knows he's a great defender, but I think he's still ticked that Silva made abit of ruckus when he was stripped of the captaincy!!!

He needs to play TS to maximize his abilities. Miranda doesn't do the same.

Today's mistake isn't about his CB partner though. It was a bad mistake period.

What have been DL's mistakes with the Selecao over the past 4 years? Today and vs Germany. His track record with us is still positive.

I was talking about Luiz. He's too old to be making the mistakes he makes.

Call me crazy but I really believe his popularity in Brazil is what keeps him in the starting XI. I get Dunga doesn't like Thiago and Marquinhos is too young but we could find a older CB to take DL's place like Nando or Gil .

Funny thing is that he flapped his arms at Jefferson for giving the ball away. Just like he flapped his arms when he lost Muller in the WC.

I can't even blame Jefferson that much because I doubt he was expecting a pass. Right thing would be for him to clear it, but he didn't have much time to make a decision. Goalies nowadays play the ball off the back more often so their natural instincts have changed a bit.

Mistakes happen and sometimes you get punished for it. It can be excusable. I just don't like the way Luiz plays his position.

That weep fest interview he had after the Germany game got a lot of non-hardcore football fans on his side .. specially females. Saw a bunch of people sharing that video on social media ... completely ignoring his atrocious performance.

If anyone is blaming Jefferson for that goal I have to chalk it up to lazy analysis.

Some dude on Bein after the game did. Yeah ... it ignores the speed of the play and the position in which the ball reached his feet. Really tough to clear the ball up the field in that situation. He could have cleared it towards the sideline. But the CB should never put his GK in that position.

If Fred starts again I will.... I will... Scream profanities at my monitor!

I'm also worried about Fernandinho, dude commits way too much fouls. I feel he will see a red card soon... DL as a CB is also a liability, so maybe use DL as a DMF and kill two rabbits with one rock? Thiago Silva + Miranda seems solid enough.

I never thought i'd reach this point but I would like to see Luiz in the midfield now.

He just makes them against FC Bayern II - kids, or? Like Guerrero and Müller who probably even own horses together...

(He does not meet that kind very often...)

David Luiz loves to commit fouls too though.

I thought Fernandinho and Elias pass well but couldn't defend. Maybe, DL in midfield is worth a try.

Not sure if that experiment will be better. Might as well bench him.

I'd try Casemiro, but his issue even in his good UCL showing were the amount of fouls he committed.

Guys ... Dunga likes the DMs to commit fouls. Forget about getting a DM that doesn't commit repeated fouls. It's all by design. They will try to keep them clean as to not get YCs. Obviously it will depend on the ref if he gives one out for persistent fouls. Fernandinho had 6 today BTW.

I don't think his posture in this game means he needs to be thrown out, but let him sit, see what happens. He needs some sense, he can't look lost in back.
