If I'm Japan I'm a little concerned about this Cameroon match. But then again Japan is going to for sure beat Ecuador so not VERY concerned just a bit. If I'm Switzerland then I am also very concerned over Cameroon. Cameroon looks good, admittedly it could just be a function that Ecuador was insanely terrible.

Switzerland absolutely needs 3 points out of Equador game. It means Swiis will press high and hard to get it.
Equador probably will bunker inside own box with an occasional long ball for a lone striker. Thus I can see Swiss with at least 3 goals in this match.
With already 3 points and 6 goals up, Cameroon should aim rather for a tactical and defensive performance against current World Champions and wait for an opportunity to score a goal from quick counter. Question is are they diciplined and patient enough for it? Otherwise playing an open game against Nadeshikos will quickly end with a pair of goals lost by Cameroon even before HT.

11' 0-0 LB #4 Rinast bursts through box top mid-left, runs alone to 1m, whips a cross to 4m 3-left. Humm(?) flick-heads across box at 3m waist-high, to Aigbogun alone at 3m 2-right -- knee-high right instep volley is the wrong technique, shanked wide right. Dive-head that, grrl.

13' 0-0 RB #5 Maritz drives down box right, ball slide-poked out. So far, it's been Switzerland's superior 1-v-1 speed creating loci of mismatch all over, but fairly direct, not much combining. Ecuador are defending juuust enough.

15' 0-0 LB Rinast and RB Maritz look like two extra attackers.
16' 0-0 Ecuador hoof up wide right for Quinteros.
16' 0-0 Switzerland dump two balls to 6-top left, both blocked.

17' 0-0 Crnogorčević jukes and races through box top left to 8m mid-left, crosses back to Bachmann unmarked at spot. Bachmann touches rightward, blasts -- waaay high. That kind of day already :p

18' 0-0 Crnogorčević give-and-go from a left throw-in, jukes around a frozen defender at 8m box left, goes to 6-top mid-left, shoots hard right foot -- Berruz double-blocks to 12m 6-right, behind Aigbogun.

20' 0-0 Switzerland ping across circle top. Ecuador are bunkering in their 1/3.

21' 0-0 Ecuador fk at 30m wide right, bent high to 9m center, flicked wide left and over.

22' 0-0 Ecuador left ck, inswing to 4m 4-right. Thalmann slaps it unconvincingly, but Switzerland clear.

23' 0-0 Aigbogun dribbles up wide left, loses it. #19 Real rounds Rinast, who lifts left arm up and pops Real in the right jaw momentarily. Both go down. Foul, no card.

24' 1-0 Switzerland pass from circle top right to Humm sprinting 1-v-1 down box right, to 3m mid-right. Sliding cross to 7m 6-right, LB #6 Angie Ponce Baque slides poorly toward own goalmouth, pokes a soft roller that wrong-foots Berruz and two post defenders -- rolls into goal half-deep 1/5 right, then hooked out, but clearly in by a couple of meters.

28' 1-0 Ponce up wide left to 25m, passes down mid-left for Quinteros leaning past RCB Abbé. Abbé slides and takes ball cleanly, Quinteros hops her, then falls coming back to challenge.

29' 1-0 Bachmann dribbles center-to-left at circle top left, tripped by #5 Olvera. In tumbling her hefty body down and rolling over, she puts the backs of her legs on Olvera's chest and gently bounces her down to her back on the turf. No foul, just Bachmann's mass :D

30' 1-0 Quinteros (162 cm) turns past #14 Kiwic (185 cm = 11" height difference!!) at 10m mid-right. Kiwic stumbles with Quinteros literally between her legs, unbalances forward and right forearm pushes Quinteros down. No call: that would have been a shoulder challenge if their shoulders were at the same height :D

45+2' (of +2') 2-0 Crnogorčević stops ball at 2m box left, fakes to freeze the defender, sneaks past her along the endline tightrope to 1m mid-left. Ground pass to 6-center under Berruz stranded near-post, #19 Aigbogun darts in front of LB #6 Ponce caught ball-watching and sidefoots into center back.

HT 2-0. I must switch to USA-Sweden; carry on.

Soooo... there were some people here who favoured Cameroon against Switzerland after their 6-0 win over Ecuador. Still think so? ;)

06' 1-0 Japan hold at 26m wide right, pass up wide right. One-touch ping to box top right facing away, one-touch diagnoal pass to 15m wide right. Cross bends to 4m left right post, Ogimi stoops under 1-v-1 pressure and can't turn it -- but it deflects across to 5m 6-left, Sameshima slides down and hooks it into 1/3 left back 1/3 high. Ping ping ping.

07' 1-0 #17 Enganamouit settles at arc top mid-right, passes square to #8 Feudjio at arc top mid-left. One-touch right foot blast, frozen rope makes Kaihori dive, but it swerves wide left.
