They aren't playing with B squad? First squad prepares for Gold Cup.

His track record says his predictions are 95% wrong, so it's about right that he made that prediction.

Exactly, why I feel Coutinho needs to play constantly well. Dunga will most likely bench him in favor of Fred.

I don't know Fred that well, but isn't he a defensive midfielder? Or can he be creative as well?

A midfield of Elias/Fernandinho/Fred looks so... blunt, on paper. Certainly we will use Coutinho or Firmino as a playmaker, no? When Neymar is available, I mean, in our standard 4-3-3.

Fred isn't really a pure DM. Another versatile workhorse midfielder.

Hmm. Thanks. I will watch him more closely... Maybe he could be the CMF we needed, then?

I don't think he is the midfielder we need as his passing game isn't anything great.

That's Dunga again using his multi-midfielders 2.0!! Last go around it was Julio Baptista, Josue, Felipe Melo, and M. Batos!!

Fred was CAM at Internacional. He was a shifty player and would create from his dribble. I'm not sure how Shakhtar has been utilizing him.

Though I would've picked Casemiro over him

He plays deeper at Shakhtar based on the CL games I watch.

So far so good!! We've won all games since the WC, but it only takes a slip up in the Copa for all that to go away!!

I've been really impressed with the performances since dunga took over. The thing I'm most nervous about is the Elias/Fernandinho pairing. I was hoping Gustavo/Elias would be the pairing in copa America....

The Copa America will tell the true story. So far, we been good under Dunga. The defense has been strong and the attack better than it was in the WC. The midfield still is the weak link.

So, how long will it take the Sao Paulo crowd to start booing us? They usually aren't very patient.
