Why Iraq, UAE, Uzbekistan or China and not South Korea. Lebanon as for the sake of picking some one from the pot..
There are worse teams in pot 3 than Lebanon and I rate South Korea as one of the best teams in pot 1.
I love to face South Korea. the matches are always classic. Taking Lebanon into picture just for sake for us not to be in one sided group where we qualify easily..
As a South Korea fan, I'm glad that we avoided KSA. I think the pace and pressing of the Saudi team can really make things difficult for Koreans. I recall the friendly match between the two teams right before the Asian Cup 2015, where Korea struggled to retain possession and hold back Saudi offenses.
@Saudi Monitor Easy group?? I find this group tricky especially after watching our team playing with small nations. Palestine and UAE can give huge headache. Malasiya can be unpredictable at away. If we get a good coach who can turn around the fortunes of the NT then only we can expect some action.
They are some rumours of Marcelo Biesla might be the coach if rejects contract extension for Marsielle.
Hats-off to Sahlawi for scoring the 3rd Goal for Saudi Arabia in dying seconds and saving "Khalid Shrahili" from huge humiliation... Never Take Any Opponent Lightly...
No No..Khalid Sharahily is the best GK we have in the NT now. It was not his mistake. It was the balls mistake it did not stick to the legs of the GK. Overall , a good game for the NT. Too many loop over balls which were accurate though. We had chances to finish of the game early with the chance Yahya Sehri got with a world class pass through atleast 4 Palestinian players. Good thing about this coach , he deploying players in there right position unlike other coaches who were just experimenting with the team. He should look afterr the defence now. The Hawsawi partnership looks weak. Looking at the front four , Sahlawi is good with good control over his first touch , Tayseer is best playing Sahlawi. Now about the wingers , Yahya is playing good on the right, Naawaf Abed can loose the ball easily . We have Fahd Muwallad, Salem Dawsari, Ahmed Fraidy and Mustafa Bassas to fill the gap in wingers which is quite good. If we get the right combination behind the striker , it would be great achievment for the NT..
From where did we got this new coach?... was he coaching any local team before joining NT?... Which team he used to play as player and does he have any achievement or any renowned victory or goal under his belt ?
