Is this right? CA had a higher attendance for the semis than the final? What about the rumored sellout before the game? In my view CONCACAF should copy the AFC and hold the final series on the weekend.
Big O is sold out - over 59,000 and reports they are adding temporary seating. So more for final than the 33K for the semi-final. The quarter-final was about 38K, but they had months to sell those, and they were also in the season ticket package, unlike the Semi and Finals which they had to sell quickly.

How many at Azteca wednesday night? @EvanJ @Paul Calixte Didn´t look like much, but even a decent crowd looks small at azteca. especially now with the remodeling that is being done.
I searched four places: Wikipedia, Seattle's website, CONCACAF, and www.soccerway.com and none of them had the attendance.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015–16_CONCACAF_Champions_League_group_stage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015–16_CONCACAF_Champions_League_knockout_stage Seattle-Olimpia: 37,100 Seattle-Vancouver: 37,600 Seattle-América: 42,800 Tigres-Salt Lake: 34,400 Salt Lake-Tigres: 20,900 Santos Laguna-LA Galaxy: 18,900 LA Galaxy-Santos Laguna: 23,000 DC United-Querétaro: 10,800
A huge improvement over previous Seattle CCL appearances. The RSL number looks small, but that's close to a sellout at their stadium.
Naked eye says sellout in the Volcán, nowhere close in the Azteca. Btw, when are they going to finish the renovations in the lower bowl? That empty space is just embarrassing.
That happens sometimes in South America, for example the last Brazil-Uruguay. This allows to put sponsors from both countries on the side banners.
