Mattos is crazy. He has Joao Paulo, Ze Roberto and now Egidio. I would have taken Egidio back at Fla, although he probably wouldn't want to return since the torcida always gave him trouble, especially early on in his career.

He seemed comfortable back there against Chelsea, kept Hazard very quiet; which is very impressive. Idk about him going forward.

Barcelona we have our eye on Felipe Anderson, but I wonder if Real Madrid will try to steal him from us like they did Danilo??:sneaky:

Well if you want until the transfer ban is lifted you are doomed. Better buy the players then auto-loan then back ASAP.

He needs to stay at Lazio until he has become big enough to warrant a starting spot at a top team. He would never get in front of Real or Barca's wingers at this stage in his career.

For some reason I feel like Bayern would be a great fit for him. Robben and Ribery are getting older.

Oh and thanks for Danilo :D. Literally one of the most useless and excessive purchases I've ever seen us make, pretty much just to spite you guys:p.

Yeah Merlin, signing Danilo was to spite us!! But I do feel he will work his way into the 1st team. As for Felipe Anderson, as much as I despise Bayern he would fit in there. I don't think its Robben and Ribery's ages that are a factor(31 and 32) but they are so injury prone!!

Yea I feel like he'll start over Carvajal too. His transfer is now up to 39me with all the fees added on. Now way will a player who cost that much sit on the bench.

I think Robben is fine with age and can probably play a few more seasons but Ribery looks like next season will be it and is way to prone to injury right now. I just hope Felipe doesn't go to any of the Manchester clubs.

Young winger with really good dribbling skills. I haven't seen him be effective passing/crossing in the final 3rd but he is explosive. It is just weird Corinthians would overpay for foreigners like Mendoza and Romero who are both average at best and not give him more time. I saw Malcolm one time this season as a starter and he was pretty impressive, scored a golaco against Lusa. The article overrates him a lot though.

I don't think we paid for Stiven tho. Iirc he came on free.

Rumors earlier this year was Malcolm to PSG... Leipzig tho??? I guess hes going the Luiz Gustavo, Firmino route.

@ESPNFC: Dani Alves has rejected Barcelona's most recent and final contract offer: http://t.co/yaz101H7Kj

    My condolences, @celito . I know it's a tough day for you.

Wasted talent. I can't really complain that he wanted the money, but he should also realize that he chose money over any career objectives. You can't have it all. And if he really believed in his talents, he would have taken a risk on himself to reach a top European league, get paid well and possibly be observed by Dunga. He chose the easier financial route.

You would think some talents with NT aspiration would look at this and other cases a decide against moves to the Middle East, Asia or sometimes eastern Europe but they still do it.

At least he knew if he wanted a successful career (football wise, not financial), he had to come back to Brazil. Vitinho thought he was going to get paid and develop into something in a league that normally stunts growth.

Jucilei still doesn't want to come back to Brazil because of the money and he still wants Dunga to call him up. Keep dreaming. Everton Ribeiro is going to learn about that too, hopefully.

Globo is reporting Chelsea have an agreement with Atletico Paranaense for Nathan Allan. He'll sign for 5me and go to Engand for his medical next week.

I still don't get why young players are signing for Chelsea knowing how they operate.

I was about to ask about Nathan actually, since I know nothing about him. Does anyone have any thoughts?

As for how we operate - Chelsea has been pretty good for Brazilians. And, really, for young players, they've been sent on loan to Germany or Holland. If they fail, well, they'd probably have failed at Chelsea. If they succeed, they might come back permanently (like Courtois) or if they fail again they'll be sold to (relatively) big clubs, like DeBruyne was. Thorgan Hazard never played for us, yet was sold to a pretty decent German club (with a buy-back option) and seems pretty happy about it. We also have a pretty good policy in place to help loaned players transition to Europe, which they can do while they play. Would you rather he was bought by someone to sit on the bench for 4 years? Because no big European club will give Nathan meaningful minutes right now. Well, maybe Italian clubs since they're so poor these days :)
