Reus and Mueller could've scored a couple more

So, Eric Durm is still better than Hector for left back?

    I thought Hector was ok

did pretty well against Australia in the 2nd half; and i was watching the game and thought Rudy exposed more than he did

Time to forget Gotze in false 9. Try Mueller there, he has similar style to Klose: good positioning, able to play on left/right/center, assist well, know how to score by header and a proven striker in WC.

    --------------Mueller

    -----Reus-----Gotze-------Bellarabi

    ------------Piggy--Gundogan

    --?? ------Hummels-Boateng---Hoewedes/Rudy

There might be another back 4 with 4 DC: Bastuber --- Hummels-- Boateng---Hoewdes :)

Bellarabi should be given more time, he can do it. In the other hand, I have no idea why Loew still has hope in Podolski, the boy should give up football and do something else.

At least Ireland drew Poland in the last seconds so we're back for the group win. But we really have to work on our doal difference.
I think the team was willing - the both you mentioned seemed a bit unlucky in those situations. The field also played its part that the linkup play wasnt as quite as accurate as were used to see it.

The first half was good except the chance wasting, in the second half the team did not seem concentrated in offense, but the defense kept stable. Important is that the 3 points are collected and Jogi saw many things he and the team have to work on.

I don't like Goetze as a false nine. The lack of ability to score is a big concern as it means that, with few exceptions, there are no easy games and that can have a mental toll on the team at the next Euros. It creates a lot of pressure for a team knowing they need to generate 6-7 chances to score 1 when playing an opponent that generates a lot less chances but typically needs 2-3 chances to score....

He is better than Messi, showed it when it mattered most.
