Its going to be bigger than Milan (48,000) and Roma's (52,500) new stadiums. Yay France. I still wish it was over 60,000 though and not 58,000.
Roma's can be upgraded to 60,000 for special events I read. I read you need at least 60,000 seats to host the Champions League final so thats why I wanted Lyon to be 65,000 so they could host it.
for crying out loud Lyon ,Marseille and Paris should have Champions league final spots all three Bordeaux,St Etienne,Lille are Europa league finals i really wish Strasbourg was getting a new stadium i love the Eurostade google it if you never seen it !Toulouse bid is a joke and rc Lens should have been bump up to 45k seats
UEFA bias. Juventus gets the Europa League final right away even though they only have 40,000 seats. Lille probably isnt even being considered.
ya but alot of stadiums can hold more than the amount of seats they have, for example standing room only seats, so the question is do they have 58k seats or is that its max capacity?
you're not allowed to sell more tix than there are seats (even if you do let people stand like at gerland). in fact it's often the case that for European matches total real capacity is LESS than nominal for security reasons.
Today I read that PSG sets the prices really high for the traveling supporters which is why they usually boycott. I wasnt aware of this and to me its another reason why we need more Parisien clubs in the top league (PFC & Red Star). Clubs that will resonably price their tickets for fans and provide an alternative to "uber rich PSG."
Le Parc des Princes à 60 000 places en 2017 ? http://www.foot01.com/equipe/paris/le-parc-des-princes-a-60-000-places-en-2017,170815
