I guess you can find a Flat Giuseppe in your neighborhood store in Italy: @GiuseppeRossi22 in attesa di conoscerti guarda come si accontenta la mia bambina. In bocca al lupo e torna presto pic.twitter.com/zBRrNXzaJa— Barbara Niccolai (@niccolaibarbara) September 3, 2014
At any rate, it appears that Prandelli and the Italian national team's medical staff were completely justified in leaving him off the World Cup squad, despite all the denials and protests from Rossi (and his grandfather). They deemed he would be high risk to get re-injured during the competition, and it turned out he wasn't even able to make it through pre-season with Fiorentina.
Im in Rome right now, and the knock off street vendors have those beautiful purple Rossi jerseys for like 20 euro... Do I buy it? I like Giuseppe, I know all wont agree, but whatever lol.
Probably a really old question and has long been answered but what do Serie A fans or Italians think of Rossi and his playing with the NT? Did he have obstacles or opponents due to his being American or is it not a big deal considering loads of Argentines have played for Italy?
Studying abroad my fellow BigSoccer friend! So yep, I was hoping Mikey would have stayed and faught at Roma lol
An update from the Fiorentina website today reports that Rossi just underwent knee surgery in Colorado and is expected to be out of action for four to five months: http://en.violachannel.tv/breaking-detail/items/giuseppe-rossi-undergoes-surgery-in-vail.html
Colorado? Get that traitor out of here. Our soccer team isn't good enough for him but our surgeons are? MURICA!!!! Wait....are we still pitch fork and torching Rossi? If not, carry on and hope you get well soon
According to Rossi's agent, Federico Pastorello, he's expected to be back on the field somewhere near early February: "The stability of his knee has improved. Only Giuseppe's meniscus was operated on and the estimated five-month wait should be respected. Basically, things seem to be going in the right direction, and the hope is we'll see him back on the field somewhere between late January and early February for the second half of the season." http://www.corrieredellosport.it/ca...na+«Giuseppe+Rossi+torna+in+campo+a+febbraio»
Be the first in line to get his new book, My Way: http://www.fanclubgiusepperossiny.com/a-modo-mio-my-way-the-first-book-of-giuseppe-rossi/ I am amused that Google Translate comes up with "Joseph Smith" in translating "Giuseppe Rossi."
He'd last about 10mins in MLS with our refs. Italy and Spain have some of the tightest refs you'll find.
I get that footballers start their careers when 15 or 16 but why do they release auto-biographies when they're like 25 or 26. I can understand if you were PELE at that age or had you won like 10 league titles and 5 CL titles and a WC trophy, but come on Rossi.
Rossi is now back to running on the field as his rehab continues: http://www.goal.com/it/news/2/serie...iorentina-giuseppe-rossi-torna-a-correre-sul-
I would guess it is fairly unlikely, unless he scores the winning goal for Italy in the 2016 Euro or 2018 World Cup or becomes a mob hitman or world famous faith healer, that there will be a very high demand for the autobiography of a 40 year old Rossi.
