"My singing voice was a 3 of 10. The atmosphere beneath the sky, on the ferry, the team joining me, was 10 of 10."
Lahm: "The Amis know if we go full tempo for 90 mins there can be only one winner today. Then we're gonna kick their asses."
lol even a whole prison in Berlin was waving with towels when they drove by. All the people in the streets, like a victory parade in Manhattan.

Kramer's singing - I have not found it on youtube right now (or I just have not found it), but in the following tumblr link https://www.tumblr.com/video/thomasfrickinmuller/107005771848/400/
Watching the "film" made me like this team more. It looks like everyone has gotten along really well. Klose has said that this is the best WC team he's ever been a part of. It's nice to see them operating as much a team off the pitch as they are on.
Before 2014 they told that 2010 had been great because of the team climate - even if it is told that Kießling could not really accept his role as substitute. But he did not have much influence in the team. 2012 was different. I guess in 2014 there was a fixed hierarchy and everybody could accept his role - 2012 it was not like this. Poldi is no starter since 2012. Khedira and Schweinsteiger first were injured and then they played when possible. Özil started in every match and neither Götze or Schürrle really could ask for a starting spot (especially as Schürrle always was the best as substitute). Klose knew that he does not have 90 minutes in him. And the others never have played the big role before in the team or even in their home teams. Apart from Weidenfeller who from the begin told that he fully accepts Neuer's role and was glad to get his first World Cup experience.
Loved how more than half the footage of the players' downtime was of them playing with their iPhones. "Wow, we are in this unique South American country that we may never visit again . .does anyone know how to get past this level of Candy Crush?"
Well, tbf, the Brazilian government had really strong security provisions in place, so its not like they could have moved around freely if they wanted. Though Bierhoffs "Wir haben mit den Indianern getanzt" made me cringe.
Yeah, I get that, and it was hard not to notice all the soldiers, police, motorcades, and guns surrounding them in almost every public scene in the movie. But it wasn't just the lack of sightseeing. They would all sit around the breakfast table together. . .silently playing with their phones. Curl up on the couch with the game on. . .playing with their phones and not watching it. On the boat to cross a river. . .playing with their phones. Sit around with teammates and have a fun conversation. . .about the YouTube video they're passing around on someone's phone. It was pretty funny.
