For the last 24hrs all my computers are getting "403 forbidden. You don't have permission to access /soccer/ on this server" Another user in Europe said it was working for him. Is ther some regional/USA server issue at the moment? Are others seeing this same error? Edit: curiously Tapatalk is working for me... Thus this post.
I'm getting this, too. I tried clearing my cache and cookies, but now I'm at least glad to hear it's not just me.
I have found that www.bigsoccer.com/community/watched/threads seems to work, albeit a bit sluggishly. The main home page is still giving errors curiously.
@dark knight - happening for me too. The large and imposing FORBIDDEN message is interesting, at least!
I didn't notice until I saw someone mention it on twitter this morning. I'm one of those people who doesn't visit the main page.
Yeah it's happening for me to. Mainpage is still dead. 403 errors on all devices, PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone.
Everything seems back to normal today. Phew. And I have to add one more random act of kindness to the admins... The editing problems that plagued us all a month or more back are all gone. It's really rock solid now. So thanks! Hope I didn't just jinx anything.
Care to explain? It works just fine for me. Edit: Ah! I see the problem. If you paste a Twitter link into the media box and select "Embed", an error message pops up saying "The specified URL cannot be embedded as media". Since I do most of my posting from my iphone I manually type it in and paste in only the number for the post and that works fine.
From the Crew forum: Whatever happened to the request about getting "watched threads" and "watched forums" on the same page? I was going to suggest something like bigsoccer.com/my but that doesn't work. We used to have bigsoccer.com/crew but that doesn't work either.
By the way, the fix to this problem is to click on the icon above the top-right corner of the message box, which looks like a page with a wrench on it. Doing so takes you out of the Rich Text Editor and lets you paste in iOS 5. Not sure how long that solution has been there -- I only discovered it a couple weeks ago.
Regarding the next/previous thread links, another forum I'm on recently went from VBulletin to whatever this is...and guess what? They also don't have these links.
Now that mods are listed, is anyone moderating US Women. I thought someone was appointed. The conversation went really weird in the middle of a thread yesterday.
I have a little green marker on my avatar that says that I'm online now, but I have the box unchecked that says "Show online status". I don't see it anyone else's, so I'm not sure if only we see it or other people do.
