2 wins out of 2. Not the most convincing results but a win is a win.

What is all this talk about Ittihad fans being banned from the Ain game?

Its apparently of the fans behaviour in the match against Tracktor Tabrozi who threw obsatcles in the field.
Talking about the wins yes not a convincing one but a morale boosting in ahead of Ain match. We lost a of chances against Fateh which should not happened. I am convinced with the new signings so far only left to see is how Didier ya Konan plays. Lastly , we need coach like Calderon to manage this team which has lot of good attackers at there disposal.

@Aimar 21 - What do you think of the league. Will the close tempo slow further ahead or will it remain same with all top four teams battling closely

I think Nassr will have a big role in shaping up the league in the next few weeks.

Some people think Caneda's Nassr is weaker than last year, although you can't argue against his numbers.
They will face Ahli & Ittihad in the next 2 rounds while the scenario where Hilal drops a couple of points due to ACL final isn't unlikely to happen.

So if Nassr have a comfortable 4-6 points lead before the derby & at least get a draw vs. Hilal I think it's going to be very difficult for Hilal to come back. Winning an ACL after 12 years can have as negative effects as losing it for a team still have something to play for in the league, so let's see how they deal with it.

Ahli doesn't look very different from the one we know in the league campaigns, and Shabab have just fired their coach, so the only real competitor is a decent Ittihad side but full of young players, so I'm not sure that will cut it when the big games comes.

I think It'll be Nassr vs. Hilal eventually (if Hilal don't go through some kind of crisis after losing ACL).

I thought the same for Caneda's Nasser. But you did not ttalk about Nasser playing in ACL next edition. This will make more space for Hilal and Ittihad and also outside chance for Shabab. If Hilal eventually wins the ACL they might just sit back and relax in the league games and go for World Club Cup full power and go for the Kings Cup. Nasser might lose two three games due to ACL fatigue .Losing ACL for Hilal will hammer there confidence to the core which might force them too laid down in the league.

Talking about Ittihad, it all takes how the new coach takes up the team. If he succeeds then Ittihad can be unbeaten and win atleast a title. The only thing I fear is the time taken by coach to settle with team will be crucial as it might cost us to lose points ..

Ahli and Shabab will be dark unpredictable horses and waiting for a chance to shake up the league even if they cant win it.

    BTW- Do you play ourleague.com

Hilal's defeat was surprising to be honest, but I won't read too much into it with ACL just around the corner.

Ahli vs. Nassr has just started, it should be a good game.

I see a interested match coming up next week where Ittihad takes on Nasser. This will be a good start and test for our new coach . If Nasser loses this match it will be hard to see them catching the pace back for the league as they will be featuring in ACL which will make them to drop points .

Wait, unless I'm getting the dates wrong the new ACL campaign won't start until late February of 2015, so Nassr (and the other teams who qualified for ACL) have plenty of games to play for before their schedule tightens up. right?

I checked it in Wikipedia here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_AFC_Champions_League#Schedule

Or there will be more stoppages for the league besides the Gulf Cup?

Anyways , google translate helped me. I dont think so its gonna happen this season. And he has not played or witnessed any training to judge players like this . Absolute crap. If he is coming for his personal gain its not going to work plus the amount the club will have to play to let release the players will be huge. As of current batch, all the foriegn players are decent enough, Marquinho is the best, Samba and Dumarie are decent enough but Konan is yet to score a good no. of goals to prove him self worth. He needs to bit work on defence if he really needs to..

I've forgotten that completely. :D You are right then. It's too bad that a league with a low number of teams (compared to the major European leagues) gets stopped that often.

BTW, I recall you asking about Ourleague fantasy game. Unfortunately it's too late for me to join, but how are you doing over there?

Ittihad loses first game against Nasser 2-1 in a heated match which saw three red cards. The league is shaping up a bit . Shabab, Nasser Ittihad and Ahli fighting for all.

I watched the game only from ~65 minutes on, who was the better side in the game? And for the record, Hasan Alraheb takes Ibrahim Hazzazi's place in my list as the most disgusting Saudi player.

I like the competition upfront in the league, it may get even better when Hilal is done with ACL Final. Alfateh is at 10th position, 2 wins and losses. I don't know how I feel about that as they are very likable club.

Dont know whats wrong with them . You cant expect a team to win the league and next season without changing much of your squad performs so badly and now fighting relgation too.

Regarding ittihad match, they were preety decent untill those red cards spoiled the game. And yeah, Hassan Raheb antics were hilarous.
