Nice to see Teddy C. back in the coaching saddle after that Chivas fiasco. He seems to have a fair amount of coaching experience since his playing days ended. Could he be in line for an MLS job at some point?

And I remember Shaun Tsakiris having a couple of good rookie games for us, back in the day. Fome odd reason, I have the memory of him bombing up and down the wing in a game at San Jose. I think it was the first game of the season, and the white shorts weren't ready, so they wore blue shorts with the white jersey and socks, which I thought was a nice look. Too bad he didn't pan out to be much more than that.

So Teddy C has more coaching experience than Jay Heaps did before he was hired. ;)

    Sorry, I couldn't resist!

On topic, Teddy was always a great guy and I'm happy to see him having some success. And yes, I remember that game with Tsakiris as well.

Youth coaching jobs haven't been a great lead in to MLS coaching jobs. He'd definitely need to get a couple years worth of experience as an MLS assistant.

IIRC, Tsakiris joined the team prior to the 2003 season with fairly high expectations and looked decent in the pre-season; however, he never ended up playing a competitive MLS match for the Revs.

The season opener against San Jose where we wore white tops with blue shorts was in 2005. It was the debut of Cassio (another hyped left winger who ended up being a bust) and was notably the debut of a young Michael Parkurst at CB.

    Ian Fuller was a striker.

Ian Feuer played GK with the Revs and was recently the LA Galaxy's GK Coach prior to being replaced by Matt Reis. It looks like he's now running his own goalkeeping academy.

Good thing I don't have to rely on my "photographic" memory for anything really important!

Ian Feuer played at a club called Racing White Daring Molenbeek (Air-Vay-Day-Em) who are now known by the much more conventional sounding name of FC Brussels, the "other" team in town to Anderlecht.

One really good thing about having lots of ex-pros in the coaching ranks is that over time, more and more young players are going to have a better understanding of what it takes to be a professional player. And that can only be a good thing for the development of players.

Saw that and was a little surprised. With his injury history and his academic qualifications, I'm kind of surprised he's willing to take the concussion risk.

I think Boggs will continue to find a way of playing organized soccer right up to the time when he wind the Nobel Prize in Medicine. The man is a 100% winner in everything he touches. One of these years the Revs may be able to say they are the only MLS team to have had a Catholic Priest and a Noble Prize winner as players before they moved on to a higher callingg

Boggs actually played last year as well - 3 goals in 27 games for the Charlotte Eagles. I think he also trialed briefly with the Rapids before catching on with Charlotte.

    Because I feel like it...

Gabriel Badilla is still with Deportivo Saprissa, where's been since leaving the Revs in 2010. He's a part time starter this year.

Argenis Fernandez plays quite a bit with Santos de Guapiles in Costa Rica.

Monsef Zerka spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons playing in Singapore.

Franco Coria has continued to play for Sarmiento since leaving the Revs. This year they play in Argentina's top division thanks to the bizarre expansion of the league.

Looks like Mauricio Castro retired a few years ago.

Didier Domi apparently works for BeIN Sports in the Middle East, although it's unclear in what capacity.

Amaechi Igwe, who is still only 26 years old, appears to be doing digital media strategy in Germany. He was last with Babelsberg in the 2011-12 season.

Sainey Nyassi spent the 2014 season with RoPS in Finland.

Chase Hilgenbrinck is the Head Sports Chaplain at Mount St. Mary's.

Jose Cancela, now 38 years old, is still playing in Costa Rica for Perez Zeledon.

According to LinkedIn, Marshall Leonard is in medical school.

Likewise, it looks like Adam Cristman is studying to be a PA.

Pat Noonan is an assistant coach with the Galaxy.

Adin Brown is a goalkeeper coach at a youth club called FC Portland.

Darren Sawatzky is the director of youth development with the Sounders.

Wolde Harris is one of the coaches of a college team in Colorado. I don't remember the name, need to look it up.

Radio? What are you talking about? You mean they don't just play the TV audio over the radio like we do? What are they trying to do, build up a following for the team or something?

Edgaras Jankauskas is currently the manager at FK Trakai in the top tier in Lithuania

Per the YA Forum, former Revs Supplemental Draft pick Alex DeJohn has joined IK Start in Norway.

He seems to be one of the rare successes among Americans who try and work through the very bottom rungs of Scandinavian soccer. He's moved from the Finnish 3rd division to the Finnish 1st division to the Tippeligaen in just a few years.
