On German tv they said that yesterday adidas ordered them in China right after the game. Normally they order them months before and ship them to Europe. But due popular demand they'll fly them in.Wednesday or Thursday and it will be only a "small numbers" collection.

Subside here in the States may have the home shirt available for pre-order this week, to ship mid-August. The away shirt will not be ready to ship until early September or so.

Yeah, probably the most popular size in the US I guess, but clearly not in Germany :( Hopefully the Chicago Adidas Store has a few S/M this Sunday

I dunno, I'd actually rather go for the three star shirt. The four star one is merely a celebratory thing. The team won the WC wearing the three star shirt after all and they won't be wearing the four star shirt at any tournament. They'll play a couple of EURO qualifiers with it and that's that. Plus I don't like the placement of that golden champions badge on the home kit. It really should be on the right as it is on the away kit.

Don't know about the US. Only checking Germany websites while I'm still here. Need to figure a way to get an M shipped to my Chicago address from a US website though.

All in all, I think over the years Adidas has most consistently produced fine designs. I mean I did like the Puma 2006 designs and the Nike 2004 designs, but in the long run, Adidas has just been the most reliable brand. For instance this time around, Nike and Puma were terrible. So I'm not afraid.

Particularly the German kits are hard to mess up. There were a couple of low points for various reasons of course (1994, 1998, 2000 & 2004), but by and large, they have been good. Especially the 2010 kit was an instant timeless classic. And while I realize that the 2014 design is more divisive (particularly the white shorts, but also the red chevron), personally I really like it as well.

I also got the black shorts today. I wore them with my white jersey, honestly we could have worn these with black shorts, they look even better.

All they have to do to make me happy with the next design is just re-use the 2010 one with 4 stars this time. :p

Only this time with fitting black shorts. In 2010, the official away shorts were in fact white. At the World Cup, they did however have to play with black shorts on occasions, so they used the shorts from the home kit that had white trimmings instead of gold trimmings, making it look a little off.

Wait till the 4 stars are available in the US, I bet the 3 star prices go down.

IF any of the 3-stars are still available. Quantities are limited already on most sites I know.

Damn, I don't remember jerseys selling out so quickly before. In Germany they even had put them on sale, but they're now gone from my local Karstadt.

As a "bigger dude", some sites are running low on XLs. Others are running short on smaller sizes. So, I am watching, carefully.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, Subside has the Trikot with the WM Finale writing below the crest. And they'll be plenty of Trikots in the future with 4 stars.

Sacked up and bought a 3-star home with Schweini. I wasn't taking any chances on missing this shirt.
