All this talk about how" soccer has arrived" and "it's here in the US". Suddenly Lebron James goes back to Cleveland and the world cup takes a backseat in the US to that story. And many dumb americans in twitter think this is actually true in the rest of the world and James is bigger than the world cup. LOL.
Jimmies were rustled http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/what-two-teams-will-make-it-out.1998257/page-16#post-30543627 There are a few other posts where the spazzos got mad in there
Dat obsession.. um.. Yeah, in 2013 we were awful. Still, in our last five official matches against them, we've won 3, lost 1, and drawn 1, by my count. In our last three friendlies, they've won one, and two were draws. We're owned! We looked better in the WC too. Grupo de la muerte, mis huevos..
Oh yeah that's the same clown that said it would be easier for the nads to gain skill than for Mexico to "gain grit" lol.
So many of those chest-thumping douches really think there's something in the water or the flag or something that makes Americans tougher. I do think they have a pretty mentally tough core, but I think it's sort of an artifact of the football "culture" in the US.
PremierUSA is probably the worst Nad poster I have ever seen So much bullshit, bullshit and bullshit. He exceeds some of the Nads on the Arse forum with his bullshit.
the first part yea maybe, but the second paragraph. LOL ok and Uruguay has 3.3 million and a mere 41,800 registered players, yet they are much more accomplished than Portugal.
Someone from Portufail bragging about the amounts of semi-finals they have been is not only stupid but also pathetic. What's even more pathetic is the x amount of population argument. It's an absurdic and stupid argument that ignores many relevant facts that should be taken into consideration. Uruguay's population for example is even less than Portufail's yet they actually won the World Cup.
Are they really though? I mean they were a WC winning team when it was nothing like it is now. Since the WC expanded and became competitive, they have reached 1 semi with an easy path. Still per capita Uruguay is and should be highly respected. But winning when they won was equivalent to reaching the Rd of 16 now.
Even if you're not the brightest person, do you really believe population means nothing ? Think carefully before you answer.
Even if you are the Portuguese equivalent of a dumb Nad, do you really believe having a big population means something? Think carefully before you embarrass yourself again, pendejo de pendejos.
To be fair, him and Kobe are probably the more well known(and marketable) American athletes world-wide outside of soccer.
It could be Michael Jordan, nobody (especially a Basketball player ) upstages the world cup. They probably see all the coverage in the US and in ESPN and in typical gringo fashion, think it's the same everywhere.
Uh. No. F-1 pisses on basketball in terms of who is more well known and marketable. I would wager to say Lewis Hamilton is more popular than any current basketball player.
f-1? you talking about racing? i know jack shit about it so you may be right but i couldn't give less fvcks about racing. basketball is pretty big globally now.
Right. Again you're an American though. But globally Lewis Hamilton is way more well known than any basketball player. And more marketable as well.
There are some bball players pretty big in China Europe too I dunno, but I don't think it's easily dismissed. I will have to look into it. Edit: btw i'm not saying the spazzo arguing about lebron being bigger than the cup is right. lol
