How are you gonna spend the hour between games? I'm thinking of having some coffee, doing a little laundry, decompensating, and then perhaps I'll tidy up the house a bit.
On several occasions today, Algerian defenders have really knocked the cover off the ball when they head it out of the box.
Ordering Vindaloo. A fellow photog's in-laws are in town. I'm going to call in an order and he's going to pick it up on the way over here to watch the game. I'm about done with laundry, only a couple things left to fold. I'll probably start a full-on freak out around 5:30 then get distracted when my friend shows up at 5:45.
I guess Bedoya is good to go. I figure Zusi would replace Bedoya. I kinda figured we'd do this, but I had Johnson up left and someone else, Chandler? at right back. Oddly, I never dream about soccer, by I dreamt last night that Zusi scored one and assisted one on a cross. I didn't catch the final score.
Wawa run? But it's not 2:00 AM, and I'm not drunk in Philly! But maybe you've got two out of three of those covered ...
Fun game; let's skip the next hour shall we? I have my Brooks USNT jersey on, Mrs. Ismitje has a USNT warmup jersey on from several years back, my birthday daughter is wearing the USWNT gold jersey, and my oldest daughter is wearing the denim-and-stars jersey (one doesn't need to identify which team you mean when you refer to the denim-and-stars!). We're ready for the main event. I wore the Brooks jersey while warming up for my rec league game on Thursday night, and my teammates were amazed that I had (presumably) purchased a Brooks shirt before his heroics. Next day air is great, even way out on the Palouse!
Well, Gents. I'm too old and too nervous to multi-task on this one. Here's to an entertaining game and a win, or a dull game and a win. Godspeed, hermanos, Godspeed.
