    Ah well. If I were Argentine, my confidence level would be taken down a notch or two. This team isn't right. The mix isn't right. Messi's not going to win it himself 7 straight times.

    I feel sorry for the Persians though. How they fell on their knees when that ball entered... this game, they gave it their all.

    Very entertaining match, actually.

    91 minutes to score. Persia had so many men back, why not step out that second line and cut off the shot?

    Argentina have played very similarly to Spain in the last Euro. Just good enough, but they wont get past any of
    the elite teams with this kind of performance.

    If South Korea win tomorrow against Algeria, they will still have a good chance. Iran will now most likely have to beat Bosnia to have any chance... not totally impossible, but they don't seem to be the best team to have to take it to an opponent.
