I hadn't even looked yet till you mentioned it just now ... I didn't even know about the advanced search feature before ... Now I guess I'll never get to use it!
"Wednesday, June 18, 2014 ISSAQUAH, Wash. - Puget Sound Gunners forward Ash Apollon’s time in the PDL was a brief, but fruitful one, as he announced June 13 that he was leaving to pursue a professional opportunity with a Belgium club, before eventually signing a contract with a pro club in Thailand. Apollon told Gunners coaches he signed with Bangkok FC of the Thailand Premier League... The 23-year-old from Boston appeared in five of the Gunners’ six matches..." http://www.uslsoccer.com/home/818363.html Peninsula College lists Ashkanov Apollon as a freshman forward whose hometown is Portland, Oregon, but who went to high school at Les Normaliens Reunis: http://athletics.pencol.edu/roster/2013/mens-soccer/ashkanov-apollon Les Normaliens Reunis is in Haiti (hence me posting this here, rather than starting a thread): http://collegelesnormaliensreunis.e-monsite.com/pages/ "The Pirates top returnee is Ash Apollon, who as a freshman last year tied the school record for assists in a season, 15, and had the fifth-best single-season goal total with 16." http://www.peninsuladailynews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2014304269993
for the very far future. k.p. boateng has an american ghanaian german italian son. age 5. (german wiki)
Evidently a PDL player named Ashkanov "Ash" Apollon, which is obviously an incredible name, is heading to Asia after some kind of tryout in Belgium: Puget Sound Gunners forward Ash Apollon’s time in the PDL was a brief, but fruitful one, as he announced June 13 that he was leaving to pursue a professional opportunity with a Belgium club, before eventually signing a contract with a pro club in Thailand. Apollon told Gunners coaches he signed with Bangkok FC of the Thailand Premier League. http://uslsoccer.com/home/818363.html The USL says he's from Boston. Soccer Talents says Haiti. He was playing college ball in Washington state; the school says he's from Portland but lists a school that seems to be in Port-au-Prince. http://athletics.pencol.edu/mens-soccer/roster/2013
2 posts earlier? I feel like you don't listen to me sometimes, Dave and ... it hurts. There, I said it.
Wow wow wow just wow. That is straight-up embarrassing. And that is definitely why I try not to play Thread Police... Apologies, @Testudo. I think you know how much I appreciate your work here. And I really appreciate your commitment to keeping the lines of communication open in our relationship.

I think I might have found a few. http://www.transfermarkt.com/ken-gi...196822/saison/2013/wettbewerb/AJ3/verein/2517 Ken Gipson is a '96 RB with the Stuttgart U-19's. Transfermarkt lists his Nationality as Germany and the United States. http://www.transfermarkt.com/benjamin-henrichs/profil/spieler/202591 http://www.transfermarkt.com/kevin-ikpide/profil/spieler/207586 http://www.transfermarkt.com/max-konrad/profil/spieler/241285 Heinrichs, Ikpide and Konrad are 97's playing with the U-19 teams Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Hertha Berlin, respectively. Transfermarkt doesn't list them with American nationality, but owhentheyanks.com lists them in a list of the '97 born American players. http://owhentheyanks.com/1997-2/. All three of them have appeared for German Youth National Teams before. @CreightonMCFCjoey, Do you have confirmation that Heinrichs, Ikpide and Konrad are eligible to play for the USA or are they just on a watch list?
Not sure if there's been a definitive answer if Jaime Moreno's son is a Yank, so I'll just leave this here 489233823545442304 is not a valid tweet id Looks like the tweet got deleted. Luckily I got a screen shot And now we know why it was deleted 489240525720289280 is not a valid tweet id Another tweet that was deleted said it won't be official until January That was fast...
Not sure if I were to make a thread for him but he is now with Dinamo Tbilisi. They are in qualifying round of CL currently (he was not in the 18 yesterday). He is listed on the roster on their website. http://www.fcdinamo.ge/en/team/players?i=242 http://www.transfermarkt.com/giorgi-chirgadze/profil/spieler/157988
First name: Daniel Alejandro Last name: Vogel Morton Nationality: Mexico Date of birth: 26 February 1991 Age: 23 Place of birth: Ciudad Victoria http://www.soccerpunter.com/players/214600-Daniel-Alejandro-Vogel-Morton Vogel (@daniel vogel) posted in a teammate's thread here, having played on UANL Tigres youth teams in 2010, but hasn't been on BS since: http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/martin-monroy-to-germany.634677/ He started both legs in Copa MX 2013 vs. Altamira for Ascenso MX club Correcaminos, a 2-1 win on 9/18 and a shutout draw on 9/24. https://www.facebook.com/daniel.v.morton1 With those surnames and having posted in the YA forum about the large number of Americans on Tigres youth squads at the time, I'd say there's a reasonably good chance he has some American background.
That's him, note the Braian Seller name in his vanity and Braian Schirrman in the profile, and he likes Rio Branco Esporte Club (2nd tier in Sao Paulo state): https://www.facebook.com/braian.seller#!/braian.seller Not Portuguese surnames.
Yank- Google Translate: Abramowitz IS HERE New at "Black & Yellow" Country's first division side FC Heiningen reports another new signing for the 2014/15 season. Fabian Abramowitz changes from the Oberliga team of Stuttgarter Kickers for Voralb club. He amplifies the offensive midfield of the Vice Master. With the kicking Fabian began at the Bambinis VfR sweet. From the C-Juniors FC Donzdorf he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena. He attended the elite school for six years, which is probably one next to the boarding of SC Freiburg, the most prestigious educational institutions of German football. He played at Carl Zeiss, among others in the A-junior Bundesliga and sometimes even trained with the professionals of the then second division. Then Abramowitz signed a contract with VfL Kirchheim Oberliga, but fell into bankruptcy after only two months. So he came for about one and a half years for TSV Bad Boll, where he noticed the scouts of Stuttgarter Kickers. The Degerlochern he was active in the league. With the 21-year-olds a desire of the player Heininger coach duo Tobias Flitsch / Lavi Budak comes to the "starlings". The Coral Springs (Florida, USA) born German-Americans is looking forward to his new role and hopes with the FCH, while avoiding the Relegation to ascend into the fifth division. As club Manchester United impressed him; of the football star Christiano Ronaldo likes it best. In addition to visiting the gyms, the trained retail salesman hits like to chill out with friends. FCH online is called Fabian "Black & Yellow" welcome, wishes him injury-free round and a lot of fun with his new comrades. http://www.1-fc-heiningen.de/news-allgemein/news-1-mannschaft/1286-abramowitz-ist-da
A guy FuPa calls a Yank named Jackson Eubank apparently left FC Schweinfurt's second team recently. http://www.fupa.net/spieler/jackson-eubank-295290.html http://www.mainpost.de/sport/Schwei...der-A-Jugend-in-die-Landesliga;art795,8223769 Probably this guy (and probably a Yank): https://www.facebook.com/robertjackson.eubank
Not sure if you guys know about this kid (I don't frequent this forum too often), but Darrick Kobi Morris is a u-19 Croatian international and Dinamo player. He's half Croatian half American, born in the US, though I'm pretty sure he's lived the vast majority of his life in Croatia.
Well, it's worth updating that he's at Dinamo now. Some of my friends who are Dinamo supporters are saying he could be special.
Soccer Talents has him as a '95 at August Town in Jamaica's top division. http://www.soccer-talents.com/Lukcas_Palmer-3_7-220906-12.html A site called JFDB includes this bio, which agrees: http://www.jfdb.info/main/player.asp?id=30246
Konrad -- German-American Ikpide -- German-Nigerian Heinrichs -- Not American; I know he is German with some Africian roots, but confirmed he is not American
He is listed as "UNITED STATES" on that roster page. He didn't play for Dinamo in the CL qualifiers, which they lost.
Nice catch. First I've seen him called a Yank, though it seems very possible he is one by now. Link: http://www.fcdinamo.ge/en/team/players
