I know this has been discussed on here and I apologize for asking. We can collect our tickets at every host city airport? I am on my ticketing account it is asking for me to make an appointment at one of collection centers. Can't distinguish which of the places in Rio or Salvador is the airport. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I still have no good answer to my question regarding buying tickets trough PMA and general platform. I have bought one ticket trough PMA and six trough general. Altough I paid with the same creditcard, with the same delivery address and with the same emailaddress they still allow me to buy one ticket more in the general platform. What should I do if I see a very good game passing by, like England-Uruguay? I can buy it, but officially I am not allowed (maximum of seven). But why don`t they just close my account? Is there really a chance they cancel all my tickets, even the ones already printed (which I hope to receive very soon)?
The thing is that I live abroad and don't really want to send my credit card to my dad via mail. He has power of attorney signed and notarized already to do anything in my name. But he wouldn't have my credit card. I am wondering if anyone picked up tickets without the credit card? Thanks
Nobody knows for sure. You will be able to buy a ticket ok but technically then are in breach of FIFA's rules. They are very unlikely to catch you but your call as to whether it is worth the risk. Now your family member/friend can buy a ticket with a new account and give it to you.
Received email about resale portal and guest name transfer etc... If getting tickets delivered do you think any changes will be printed on tickets? Or is it too late? It allows you to make the change and doesn't mention anything about tickets already being printed which it did previously... Asking more for souvenir purposes
I have a question. FIFA website makes it clear that you cannot collect game tickets on day of game at the stadium. but can you collect from airport on day of game? Reason i ask is that I've just gotten a ticket for Spain vs Netherlands om 13th June but i arrive into Brazil on that day, and FIFA won't post the ticket to me becuase its after the threshold.
^^ There will be machines available at the airports to collect tickets. I don't understand why they would remove them on the matches' days. It just doesn't make any sense.
Has anyone tried calling FIFA regarding specific seat locations in the stadium? I sent an e-mail but their response was pretty useless.
It's a computer, they wouldn't have to physically remove them. They could have them setup not print tikets for games being played that day. Doesn't make sense for them to do that though.
I don't think the credit card is a requirement for when you assign a third party to pick up the tickets for you using the power of attorney. The sales regulations say you need the notarized power of attorney, notarized copies of photo id of both the ticket applicant and the attorney, and the third party has to bring their own id. I wrote to FIFA and they said the power of attorney could be written in English and doesn't have to be legalized by the Brazilian consulate. I would be interested in hearing from someone who actually went in to know what they asked for and checked. IN CASE THE TICKET APPLICANT WISHES THE TICKETS TO BE COLLECTED BY A THIRD PARTY, SUCH THIRD MUST BE DULY AUTHORIZED BY THE TICKET APPLICANT BY MEANS OF A NOTARIZED POWER OF ATTORNEY AND NOTARIZED COPIES OF BOTH THE TICKET APPLICANT’S AND THE ATTORNEY’S IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS WITH EMBEDDED PHOTOGRAPHS.
Hey guys- anyone know how to go about getting the free visa to Brazil (and do I need one for one week)... I look up the requirements and you need to have the official ticket-no copies or email will be accepted but problem is I have to get the ticket in Brazil. Any way around that?

General question, does anyone know if the PMA tickets are all together in a section of the stadium so the fans of that country are all in the same area? Is it published on the FIFA website?
I sure hope so, it's how it's usually done to segregate fans together as mixing up the fans from both sides invites trouble. That's one reason I'm OK with my Cat-2 PMA ticket for US-Ghana even though it was tempting to upgrade to a cat-1 which are showing up today.
question about transfer. I read that transfer ticket can only be done for the guests, while for the main applicant, it's only for refund. i have some tickets that I want to transfer (all of them, guests + main applicant). i assume i can only transfer X - 1 tickets (so if i have 4 tickets, i can only transfer 3 tickets). the main applicant ticket needs to be refunded to FIFA. is that correct? Thanks.
No, you cannot turn in the main applicant for refund thru FIFA and transfer the 3 guests. If you turn in the main applicant ticket, you have to turn in all the guests along with it.
Ticket Alert: 3rd place tickets available now, cat 1 & 3. ps this is the forum we post this in right?
there is a Ticket Sightings thread specifically for posts like that. https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/ticket-sightings.2003593/
Sorry if this has been discussed, but I dont want to go thru 309 threads, does anyone have any tips or past experience with getting final tickets? We are obviously seeing Fifa release tickets back, I also know from this forum and others that very few people have tickets to it. I know at least in USA for concerts some of the best seats are actually released the day of. I'm wondering if Fifa does anything similar for the final?
I attended the World Cup 94 final -- so ages ago. But I remember that we ended up getting 4 x Category 1 tickets pretty late in the ticketing sale phase - auto-dialer to get through to FIFA sales people by phone! The tickets looked different and were not as nice as those from the earlier phases. Needless to say, I peaked too early in my World Cup viewing history and have all but given hope of ever attending another Final in person again.
