US Soccer Supporters Club Frustrations

    Not since January. Last year my discount wasn't working until a few months after my membership started. Of course, they also gave me three or four different membership numbers in the first half dozen emails I received.

    I renewed my membership, but the transition point was a few weeks ago.

    I tried online and it didn't work. Called up to place and order and they gave me the discount. Got my scarf last week.

    My scarf, membership card, and yearbook arrived on Monday. I was surprised. Last year I didn't get my yearbook until August, after I'd made two calls to US Soccer asking about it.

    Maybe they stopped sending out the yearbooks so they could print new ones updated with the new coach.

    I have been a member ever since they started the Club.

    Other than the scarves I really so no benefit to this as I recently got an email listing the now new membership levels.

    I am not sure if I should extend my membership. I barely get to enjoy any of the perks other than being a fan.

    Their main marketing perk was World Cup priority, but I didn't see that at all.

    I joined this year for the first time since I am going to a few of the Sendoff matches and though it would be cool to get on field access for the training sessions. Does anyone know how that works, do you just show your membership card when you show up etc?

    After US Soccer announces each training session, a link to RSVP for a field-level "seat" [standing] appears in the Supporters Club online portal. The day of the practice, they'll have a check-in table and you'll just need to provide your name to get into the supporters club section on the field. You'll still want to arrive as early as possible to claim the spot you want before it gets too crowded.

    Honestly field-level access for the public training sessions is by far the biggest perk of joining the club, if not the only thing that makes it really worthwhile. It's why joined as well.

    Eh. Field Access is alright, but you have to deal with the superfans who don't mind calling out players practicing while sitting in the bleachers.

    The way I see it, I am basically paying for Autographs, so US SOCCER can pay Juergen.

    Tried using my membership number on an order today, did not work for 10% off. Still I'd like to think my membership is helping in some way. The early ticket ordering did get me great seats in Jacksonville. My scarf and membership/card booklet just arrive roughly 6-7 weeks after joining.

    Call US soccer and go to their membership line. It took a couple days for them to return my call but the very nice lady on the phone eventually did give me a code to get a discount and miraculously a few weeks later my scarf and card showed up.

    Just joking, btw, did you end up getting all 3 games in brazil. Cant believe it is 4 weeks away.

    Well... nice surprise in the mailbox yesterday! Totally not expecting it and MUCH nicer than the blue member scarf!

    Anybody else got this? I didn't order it nor paid for it, so I'm thinking (based on the note) that the Fed knows I'm going to the WC based on PMA tickets and send this out... Keep an eye out peeps!

    I also got the scarves in the mailbox yesterday - 3 scarves, one for each person that I bought tickets for through US PMA, so I definitely think PMA ticket holders are getting these scarves. Very nice touch.

    I had trouble with scarves and USSSC having the wrong address. FWIW, I called (312)808-1300 during regular business hours, followed the menu to the supporter's club extension, and got an actual person (Garrett) on the phone pretty much immediately. He seemed to get the issue sorted out. I guess I'll know for sure in 6 weeks if the replacement packet actually comes... but fingers crossed.

    Not that exact problem, but I definitely know the feeling.

    Anyone receive their 2015 scarf & membership card yet? In 2013 I believe I got mine the first full week of March. But last year I think it arrived a couple weeks later.

    I received my 2015 membership card today, but according to the Supporters Club FAQ page on ussoccer.com, the scarf and yearbook should be arriving just in time for the World Cup [I hope]:

    When will I receive my Supporters Club items?

    Members will receive their Supporters Club items in May of 2015.

    I got my scarf on Friday. No yearbook.

    I suggest calling. They're very bad with emails.
