early red card which was highly questionable at best.

I'm missing Fluminense in this competition. Next yr we're going to make a return in a champ style.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, he has a pretty bad reputation in the LMX with making controversial and bad calls, and probably the worst thing is that he's going to referee games at the WC this summer.

He doesn't deserve to be there or in the CL for that matter; there are more qualified refs in the league than that bozo.

It was a questionable call for sure, but Atl.-Nacional deserves major respect for tying a game which seemed hopeless.

The goalscorer is a Brazilian. Who would've thunk it.

What a difference a week makes, huh?
Cruzeiro went from being the team that "could give bayern a real game" to being a team that may not make it to the next round.

I bombed that day of Sabio, but I'd like to think most people did as well.

If Santiago Garcia is scoring, something must have been fishy....

In group 3 you have the Sudamericana Cup Champion (Lanús), the Chilean Champion (O'Higgins), the Colombian Champion (Dep. Cali) and the Paraguayan Champion (Cerro Porteño).

Sorry, not even close to the quality in Group 7. I would like whatever you are smoking though.

Sorry, but groups 6 and 3 are way more interesting and competitive than group 7.

Never disagreed about 6 but i think you are the only one who thinks group 3 is a group of death. Writers have even called it the group of futility lol. None of those teams in group 3 are even a threat to win the competition. By your criteria Group e would be the group of death in the world cup.

If you read carefully what I wrote, I have those 2 groups (3 and 6) as "group of death". In any case, the group 7 is a "group of death", but If you prefer to watch a Bolívar-Emelec match instead of a Newell's-Gremio or O'Higgins-Lanús, good for you.

P.S. "Writers"? I don't give a shit about what "writers" write:)

Once again wasn't debating 6. No team in group 3 is a threat to win the tournament, therefore no group of death. I doubt anyone would breathe a sigh of relief if Cerro or O'higgins gets knocked out. No one is scared to play any of those teams besides Lanus.

So are you saying that Emelec, León, Flamengo and Bolívar are a "threat" to win this Cup? LOL!

Considering Brazilian teams have won it the past 4 years it isn't crazy to assume Flamengo will go deep. They may even get knocked out in the group stage, therefore Group of death. Emelec and leon actually have a little thing called $$$$$, you might have heard of that idk. Follow the money it usually wins. Botafogo has been terrible against lower division Brazilian sides then when they come to the libertadores they are dominating, so do the math. Ponte Preta a relegated side made it to the finals of the sul- americana, so excuse my skepticism, i'm trying to live in reality.

LOL after staying in the top flight thanks to a court decision? I don't know whats worse/more embarrassing, that, or the fact that Fluminense fans actually took to the streets and celebrated the ruling….

And its not even the first time you've done it… The old Jao Havalange cup… LOL

If you go down, handle it like men don't embarrass yourselves with even more political maneuvers

I see... However this club just don't own this blame that the media created on them. The old Joao Havelange isn't the faulty of fluminense, it was just another shit created to sell news... Do you really think that we own all this? You must make a research just to be concerned about this kind of injustice

Guess none at this betting company has paid attention to Cruzeiro's current campaign then, huh?

Ese 2t que se mandó la Unión fue casi impecable: San Lorenzo estuvo corriendo detrás de la pelota.

They have, but they are still the favorite despite it, that should paint the picture for you Hermano. They are pretty much the favorite with any sportsbook.
