Goalkeeper:Neuer Left Back: Alaba Center Back: Thiago Silva Right Back: Lahm Defensive Mid: Schweinsteiger Central Mid: Iniesta Right Midfield/Winger:Robben Left Midfield/Winger:Ronaldo False 9: Messi Striker:Ibrahimovic
First missing one DF Secondly you can NOT have a false 9 with another striker next to him. "False 9" only exists in formation like 4 3 3, 4 2 3 1 , or 4 1 4 1 .... (meaning any formation that employed ONE CENTER FORWARD)
ok but make up rules that you need to have defensive players hahahaha.. the first team listed would have nobody to play defense! GK - Neur LB - Marcelo CB - T. Silva CB - Kompany RB - oh man... so many equal crappy options.. Lahm DM - Paulinho DM - De Rossi / Nilton / Vidal CM - Iniesta LW - Neymar RW - Messi ST - Ibra Give me that team any day of the week..
Actually, I would take Ronaldo in the Place of Ibra.. he's so amazing he would likely score more with serves from Neymar.
Subs: Falcao Cavani Alexis Suarez Arguero Di Maria Toure Schweinsteiger Nagatomo Darijo Srna Chiellini David Luiz Fernando Muslera []__[]
If I could pick a squad and put anyone on it: GK:Neuer RB:Lahm CB: Thiago Silva CB: Hummels LB: Alaba DM: Pogba DM: Schweinsteiger LM: Ronaldo RM: Messi AM: Gotze CF: Zlatan
Think that midfield would work? Messi was really bad for Argentina playing as a Midfielder and you're expecting Ronaldo to drop back and defend along with Messi?
I don't think that team would have too much defending to do, but if Messi and Ronaldo don't want to defend, then I can find other wingers. Hazard and Ribery can replace Messi and Ronaldo if they don't want to defend.
Defending is always important, Barcelona hasn't spend money in Defenders in a while, and they have been getting worse and worse with their aging midfielders. Was Neymar a good acquisition, absolutely, but after you lose that badly to Bayern Munich, wouldn't you want to go after defensive minded players first, then worry about securing Neymar. And again this year their Defense is struggling. So you say they won't be doing much defending, yet you are substituting 2 attacking wingers for another 2 attacking wingers, there's a big difference between real defenders and somebody that can chase the ball for a bit. If you have your attacking winger chasing the ball, all of the sudden you don't have them attacking any longer, because they are tired.
Why would I need good defensive wingers for that team? I don't think the team would be doing much defending.
