We should give 20 spots to Brazil and 2 to each of the other countries. End of story. :ROFLMAO:

I made a mistake with the bonus points for making the group, at the end the rankings were the same but the total points for 2013 changed. Also for some reason Mexico and Ecuador had a higher divisible in 2010, I corrected that and their scores went up slightly for that year.

Still third, although the difference vs Paraguay decreased thanks to Olimpia. Chilean teams perform well but just don´t win the damn thing haha.

Venezuela lost their good 2009 score, so now they drop to last place.

Chile and Paraguay almost catching up with Argentina. Seems fair. El cociente argentino ha decaido desde que los pincharratas ganaron la Libertadores en el 2009.

Personally, while Brazil's league is the clear #1 and Argentina's still #2, I think Paraguay, Colombia and Chile are getting very close to Mexico and Argentina. I have no affection for the Mexicans at all, but I think they are the #3. They just can't send their top teams to the Libertadores, and is not the same pressure when competing as a guest.

The Paraguayan league is my favorite after the Brazilian one, with Argentina next, then Mexico/Colombia tied, and Chile behind. The bottom-table clubs in Chile can be quite poor. Watching an Everton-Huachipato is like watching a comedy of defensive errors.

To be fair, the bottom teams even in Argentina make a lot of comedic defensive errors. Paraguay got a lot of points and closed the gap on Chile, they performed very well and Chile performed the worse it had in a while.

Morelia, Leon(clausura champ 2013) and Santos have been one of the top 10 teams in Mexico, at the very least during the past Mex tourneys. They are also one of the biggest importers of SA talent and usually have big name players on their rosters.

One thing I see since 2010 is that the Peloton is getting close to catching Argentina, or at least Argentina is getting closer to the pack than to Brazil.

Again, how many players were Liga MX players vs local players?

I am pretty sure teams had both.

But hey if you do not want to believe the results on the field that is not my problem.

go a ahead and use other reasons, just like USA magazines and websites do to rank MLS higher than what it really is (other than based on field results).

So tell me why do you think Liga MX is supperior to other Conmebol leagues?

Como un buen anchor baby you run off for help when you can't back your shit up.

I never said that Liga MX is superior. Do please point that out. No puedes ni leer en Ingles.

Sure the USMNT is really the 13th best team in the world, ahead of Chile, Ecuador, England, etc. because FIFA says so. After all, they base their rating from play on the field.

So based on Copa Libertadores results, what league is better?

That is what set you off, so tell me why do you disagree with the fact that there are 6 leagues doing better than Liga MX in Copa Libertadores (using the last 5 years).
