Haven't heard much about this but apparently there will be another Sawa and Friends event on January 20th. Here is the link to the official web site: http://www.sawaandfriends.jp/ Also a bad Google translation of some of the participants: SAWA and Friends Homare Sawa (INAC Kobe Reonessa) Near moth Yukari (INAC Kobe Reonessa) (I assume this is Kinga) Kawasumi Naomi (INAC Kobe Reonessa) Azusa Iwashimizu (NTV Bereza) Sakaguchi Yumeho (NTV Bereza) Aya Miyama (Okayama Yunogo Belle) Miho Fukumoto (Okayama Yunogo Belle) Aya Sameshima (Vegalta Sendai Women's) Maruyama KatsuraRina (Speranza FC Osaka Takatsuki) Shinobu Ohno (AS Elfen Sayama FC) Yuki Ogimi (Chelsea Ladies FC) Legend Players Hisashi Kato Ruy Ramos Takeda OsamuHiroshi other ※ future, at any time, additional members will be announced. Hopefully this is a partial list. I don't see Kamionobe or any of the European Nadeshiko (besides Ogimi).
FAWSL resumes in April only, that's why Ogimi will be able to be there. D1 (Kumagai, Utsugi) on January 19th, and Bundesliga (Ando, A. Tanaka, Iwabuchi) on February 23rd. For those, I'm afarid it will be impossible to attend the game... Well, it's certain for Saki since on 19th (18th, actually) the game will be against PSG...
Wouldn't the Nadeshiko in Germany have time to attend or will they be in the middle of training? Also Gromit06, thought you would find this interesting. From Saki's blog, a desk and chair from her new apartment. The caption reads "Here is where I study the French language everyday". ここで毎日フランス語の勉強しています。 This doesn't seem too "stalkerish" does it?
Yes, I think they will (be in the middle of training). Frankfurt playing for this resume-game against the title holder Wolfsburg a crucial match, I'm not sure that the FFC's coach will be keen to see his two Nadeshikos leaving for such a long travel (to and back) with the risk of injuries... Maybe she decided to turn herself into a monk ? Anyway, nothing here to distract her from her studies... Poor Saki... Life must be boring, somerimes...
It has not atracted attention so much, but National University Tournament is being held now. http://www.jfa.or.jp/match/matches/2014/0119university_w/index.html The most unexpected result of the second round is that Himeji beat Waseda.
Last year it was a Christmas event (I remember players in Santa Claus costumes). I wonder why this time it's placed so far ahead in January... Anyway, it was a very funny event in 2012, and I sure hope it will be as much funny this time.
Talking about the stalker, I'm following about 90 players' tweets and recently I found funny that Wada often tweets her doubts about the popularity of Tanaka Yoko. For example: She tweeted "Why is this kid there at the above Saki Takei (a popular actress)?" And Yokoyama, Kawashima and some former U-20 players were agreed with Wada. Also.. "I don't remember how I kissed such a sweaty girl." -Wada "wonder, since when do people treat her as a pretty woman." -Wada
By the way, this is completely irrelevant, but the actress's first name is Emi. Yeah, I know it's really strange. How can we read "咲" Emi?
LOLOL! Feeling envious? Someone should tell her that anyway, on the Nadeshiko thread, And G prefers her! Well, anyway that sweaty kiss made Wada appear on a public poster too!
Well, I write this to tell everybody here that I just wrote an article for an online magazine about japanese football. Of course I wrote about female football, what else? Is a little review of every team in nadeshiko league in 2013 in every competition, if someone wants to read it I could translate it into english to the people don't understand spanish. The article has almost 4 pages, the editors are thinking in cut it because they think is too long for this subject
Well, post the link to the article! I can try to read it even without translation (I can't exactly speak Spanish, but since I am Italian and I studied Latin and neo-latin languages, I normally can gauge quite well what's been said in a text written in Spanish).
Yes, Kapi, please post it. I personally can read Spanish, it shoud be allright as far as I am concerned. And congratulations for being published Publishers always want short articles, saying that people don't want to read long studies or articles. I know it too well, being myself someone who likes taking his time to explain Their attitude and the readers laziness is a bit sad, for sure....
Awwwww.....poor Ms Wada. Is somebody jealous because of all the attention our charismatic Tomboy TanaYo is getting? It is not just a pretty face that gets attention. Yoko is cute, though. @blisset: well, but we can neither see her face nor her number on the poster, so nobody really knows that we are looking at Ms Wada...
Well, here you have the article. But the magazine is not ready yet, it will be the 1st number ever and people are nervous about it. I will post it when is ready. Thanks
Muyyyy bueno, compañero ! I enjoyed your reading very much. I have no doubt that it will be a wonderful help for any Spaniard keen to know what is about in Japanese Women's Football. Clear and concise. And with the extra bit of necessary precision in a KAPI style : "En la Nadeshiko League Cup estuvieron a punto de conseguir su primer trofeo, pero el INAC (y en mayor parte su portera, Ayumi Kaihori) las dejó a las puertas tras el 3-1 de la final." Well done. I wish you to have this text published, and let's hope it's only the first one of many
As I figured, I had no particular problems in reading the article (well, I was helped by the fact that I knew very well the subject, so I could easily fill any gaps there could be in my understanding... ). I guess is a well written one and it can give a good idea of what the Nadeshiko season was to anyone who hadn't a chance to follow it. I agree that it's difficult being complete and at the same time shorter than this: so, stand by your length and version, KAP!
Grazie mio amico, merci mon amie. I'm glad you like it, I hope I can write more of this stuff in the future (or maybe write us a Nadeshiko Magazine with the members of this thread )
Seems the one that's strange is us. 咲はもと、「口+音符笑」で、口を細めてほほとわらうこと。咲は、それが変形した俗字。日本では、「鳥鳴き花笑ふ」という慣用句から、花がさく意に転用された。(漢字源)
