Is it ok to make the Rams their own thread? Sorry, new to the forum and can't see another. Anyway, the Rams had a pretty good debut season, after a shaky start, and finished mid table. It was pretty tough, especially after losing ex MLS players Ryan Maduro and Andrew Sousa. I think the average age of the team was about 20, but there are some good players, notably Matt Keys, Keady Campbell and Manny Andrade. Hopefully a few will return next season and we can kick on. Fundraising also needs to be better for next season, as last year the only matchday revenue seemed to be from entrance fees ($5) and a small merchandise stand. It would be good to start producing programmes and perhaps golden goal, raffle tickets, etc... I am trying to promote the Rams by taking a scarf around every ground I visit in England this season. if anyone's interested, they can check out the pictures here. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.367746573352502.1073741834.255316034595557&type=3
The Boston Rams have been awarded the Rookie Franchise of the Year award at this year's AGM. Well done to all involved!
Hi Jonny, here's the thread we were using last season, over in the MLS/Revs section, because of the affiliation : https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...-affiliation-w-pdls-real-boston-rams.1985581/ Hope this helps - always enjoy seeing your photos of that Rams scarf in jolly old England! Hope you can enjoy jolly New England again this season! Go Rams!
Rams will be playing at the Quincy Veterans Memorial Stadium for 2014. It's in a better location for attracting supporters and will hopefully give a more professional feel than the very small high school stadium used last season. Still, I just hope the rent won't be too much of an increase on the Muscato.
