It would be nice if when you close one of the threads (like the Adidas, Nike, etc) and create a new one, if you'd make one last post in the old one linking to the new one (similar to how the first post in the new one links to the old one).

Yeah I can do that in future - but the link that I post is always to the last page of the previous thread. I just did it quickly this afternoon before i went off to football. The rules always used to be that once a thread reached 1000 views you had to close it. That rule was lifted but its always better not to let a thread get too many pages.

You request has been taken on board and ill do that next time!

I got my wires crossed with what you wanted. I thought you wanted the last post in the new thread. To be honest you don't need the new thread link in the old Adidas/Nike threads because the new threads are sticked and will appear at the top of the thread anyway, the older threads will slip down onto other pages.

I'm doing my best here it is very time consuming to alter all the threads. It used to be that we HAD to alter the threads once they got 100o posts as it makes it harder to search. We don't have to do that anymore, but I still try and do it to keep the board in some sort of order.

The Adidas ad Nike threads will always be stuck. I will try and remember to do it with the other threads next time it's time to open new threads. As I said though as soon as a threads is locked it slips onto back pages so you'd probably be better using the link in the new thread that will take you back to the old one.

Well, the reason I would like it, is because I primarily follow threads I'm interested in by the watch feature. I'm not always browsing the boots forum to see the new threads... especially since this forum rarely ever gets new threads. So when I first made the request, I had already read the last post before you locked it, thus I didn't realise there were any new posts until a week or so later when it dawned on me that I hadn't seen any boot threads pop up in my watched list in a while and went to look in the boots forum to see what was up.
