Simple question in your view and opinion which country has the best collection of young talent. On the verge of having a golden generation like spain just had to win or be close to winning one of the next three WCs. And in turn has the best and healthier outlook for the future. The cutoff is players born from 1990 forward.

I think you should revise the AGE that defines YOUTH. I saw you put randomly some names at 23, but miss out some names for Germany NT: Reuss 24, Kroos 23, Muller 23 Hummel 24, Ozil 24 Basturber 24 ...

Overall, I think Germany NT leading in term of young players with quality (under 25)
Followed by Spain, Brazil, Begium and France

Brazil as always pumping out great young talent, but I think Spain has the best young talent, and the most balanced distribution of said young talent. Carvajal, Isco, Thiago, Morata, Oliver Torres, Illaramendi, Inigo Martinez, just to name a few of the U-23 talents Spain are producing. Are they headed for another Xaviesta generation of dominance? I doubt it, but I don't think that the current Spain generation was an accident or a one-off "golden generation" either. They'll be amongst the best in the world alongside the traditional powers of world football for a while now. Belgium, Colombia, Italy, Ghana, and France are a few other nations that have very bright futures as well IMO.

If you look and learn to read a little bit you will see that I set the cut off age as to born in 1990 or later. Is a subjective year but I had to draw the line somewhere.

    Observation from Lima, Peru:

i've seen street footballers around my father's neighborhood in lima with more skill than most pros. There's talent everywhere, especially around the urban areas where u have kids out there playing ball on a daily basis. But talent, as far as academies and canteras goes, is selective. Most kids can't afford to tryout for teams because it's time consuming and lucrative. Most pros that make it in Peru need support from their parents; i'm not saying every up and comer has to come from a rich background, but i do think they need support not only from relatives but through well established contacts. Also, there is plenty talent everywhere, especially in SA. The problem in some countries is the administration which promotes and handles the market at youth level and the lack of accessibility in venturing into the football business.

The best collection goes to Spain. They have the largest quantity of players who are born 1990 and younger. MatthausSammer already named them.
In other hand, the best young superstars has Belgium, Germany, Brasil and Italy with players like Hazard, Götze, Neymar and Balotelli.

There is no difference as it pertains to this poll, the players i listed are there as an example is not the entire list. Feel free to list all the players you want to make a case for certain country. I just listed some to give the people voting an idea of the players from those countries.

I was going to say its close between Germany and Spain but Belgium seems to be going through some kind of young golden age.

Belgium has young stars coming out of their ears.

It is cognitive dissonance. Regardless of the facts, people will always underrate Italy. But, that really helps Italy in competitions.

I think you're wrong with "most pros that make it in Peru need support from their parents". Most players are from really average, even humble backgrounds with no connections. I've seen many reports on footballers, Ruidiaz is from Villa Maria del Triunfo, Farfan used to steal hats, Manco spent his first paycheck on his father's medication, Vargas is from a humble neighborhood, Kukin is from los Barracones, etc. The only player I can think who had it easy is George Forsyth whose dad is pretty-well known and well-off. There may be a handful more, but I believe most Peruvian footballers aren't well-connected nor financially secure prior to going pro. Sorry to go overkill.

That team plays that Olympic Final 10 times against the Brazil team they beat, and they would likely lose 8 out 10. Pointing out results really doesn't help the argument, because if there was a gun to your head and these teams were to play again but you had to pick 1 of them, you likely wouldn't pick against Brazil.

Because you said so? Did you watch the game? 1 bone headed play for Brazil at the start decided that match. Brazil pressured all the way till the end almost scoring so many times. Brazil was the better team, Mexico was the winner. No doubts about that.

No I didn`t watch the game

Brazil didn`t have a shot on goal until past the 30th minute and was an easy save for Corona. Neymar was nowhere to be found. Mexico had control of that game please.....

They had a scoring chance with Oscar right at the start of the game... it was cleared by the defense, also a couple of deflected shots which became corners and some headers out of bounds. The first shot on goal sure it was Oscar's shot around 20 minutes (not 30) into the game. And by then.. Mexico had 1 shot on goal and so did Brazil...

Then they traded long distance shots while Brazil had more possession. At the end of the first half Brazil almost scored twice, with Oscar's pass intercepted which was going to have Damiao free, and then the Mexican GK making a save vs Damiao.

On the second half Brazil was up to 15 shots while Mexico still had 3... Mexico had a total of 6 shots the whole game and 1 corner.. yeah they DOMINATED.. i didn't watch the game sure...

Then Peralta had a set piece header for the second goal.. and Brazil went back into pressuring Mexico right after.

They kept pressuring Mexico and eventually got the Goal from Hulk then Oscar missed a wide open header... he gets that header and you would be talking how great that final was....

Yeah you really didn't watch the game. your comment of Mexico had control kind of proves it. Unless being pressured by your opponent the whole game giving up shots and close calls to the other team is a strategy. I can definitely see their coach coming towards the end of the game and yelling for their players

GUYS GUYS!! LET OSCAR TAKE A FREE HEADER!! HE'LL BE OVER CONFIDENT AND MISS IT!! TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!!!
