Is there free parking anywhere around the stadium?

You can park on some streets nearby if you are willing to walk a bit, but that is gonna fill up fast.

Most game days the parking lot is only $10-15, can't remember what it was for the last UMNT game.

For all the complaints about the way the USSF handle tickets sales, they got it right in terms of reaching their goal. This was the biggest pro-US crowd yet in Columbus for the U.S./Mexico rivalry. My guess would be 90/10 or 85/15.

Paid $300 for 2 tickets via craiglist via Paypal. Went to enter stadium, ticket guy said they had already been used, sp they sold me 2 tickets at the very top for $98 a piece. The seller is apparently going to give me $200 back because we had to pay for 2 tickets for $98. Happened to quite a few people. Does this always happen?

Generally Craigslist transactions that don't take place in person are asking for trouble.

Were they real tickets or electronic?

Anyone have updates on what happened to the guys at the FBM tailgate? That really was the only negative of the night.

    Ditto ????

Us soccer got the ticket policies right, but it was also up to us as fans to buy them and ensure we had a pro us crowd. Kudos all around but getting tickets is only going to get harder.

Apparently, an undercover walked up to the tent and asked if he could just buy a beer since he wasn't able to bring any. And apparently someone sold it to him. So they confiscated all the beer as evidence and shut down the tent.

I'm curious to know more details. Google searches aren't bringing up anything yet.

I was late getting up there and the seller was worried I wasn't going to buy them...so I paid via Paypal. We met, she gave me the tickets, then when we went to enter the stadium, they said they had already been scanned.

That's strange, at least you got in the stadium in the end.
